In a few days, it will be one year since I made the decision to create and launch däv consulting.
Looking back on the past 12 months (from the thought to the idea into a real project), it has been a journey filled with ups and downs, but one that I wouldn't trade for anything.
The decision to start a business was not an easy one. It required a lot of soul-searching and self-reflection. I knew that it would be a challenging road: countless overthinking nights, questioning decisions and the feeling that I want to give up. But I also knew that the potential rewards were worth it. I had a vision of what I wanted to achieve, and I was determined to make it a reality. I may not be fully there yet; but I am on my way.
Reflecting on my journey in the past year; here are some valuable lessons that I have learned along the way:
1. In the world of entrepreneurship, it's important to strike a balance between striving for excellence and being able to multitask effectively. You should always strive to do your best, but at the same time, be willing to let go of perfectionism and focus on getting things done in a timely and efficient manner. This will help you stay focused on your goals and make progress toward achieving them, even in the face of competing demands and changing circumstances.
2. Failure is not the end of the world. As an entrepreneur, you will experience setbacks and failures along the way. It's how you handle these failures that will determine your success. Failure is an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. Don't be afraid to take risks, and don't let setbacks discourage you. Instead, use them as motivation to keep moving forward and improve your business. I learned to embrace failure as a learning opportunity and to never give up on my dreams.
3. Stay focused on your vision: Remember why you started your business and stay true to your vision. This can help you stay motivated during challenging times and make decisions that are aligned with your long-term goals.
4. I discovered the importance of self-care and taking breaks. As an entrepreneur, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget about your well-being. However, taking breaks and prioritizing self-care is crucial for maintaining productivity, creativity, and mental health. It's essential to make time for things you enjoy outside of work, whether it's spending time with loved ones, exercising, or pursuing a hobby.
In conclusion, the past year has been an incredible journey of self-discovery, growth, and learning. Starting a business is not for the faint of heart, but it's an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm excited about what the future holds, and I'm looking forward to continuing to grow my business and help others achieve their goals.
If you're considering starting your own business, my advice to you is to be prepared for the challenges ahead, but also to embrace the journey and never give up on your dreams.
Here's to many more years of success and growth!
📣 We are live 🥳
Finally, after many months of work,I am finally announcing the launching of my website.
I have been collaborating in several website's creations and it is always so much easier when the project is not for yourself. Did you ever notice?
When it comes to my own posts, my website... I always question myself more and spend more time to move on. From the sitemap, to the copy writing (my best part), the tone of voice, the pictures' selection, design, development, test and try ... I am celebrating. I am proud of it.
It may not be the final version (I will always find ways to improve it - that's the perfectionist in me) but at least, it's happening!
So the website is a sum up about däv consulting

I would love to read about your website launching and story! What did you learn from this experience? What you loved about it?
I simply love when I hear someone saying "I have dream business idea"!
This is amazing to be aware of our values, skills and knowing that we can help/upgrade other’s daily life using our products or services.
If having an idea is the very first step of the process, transforming this idea into an actual project is another step that is often driving by either fear, doubts, excitement, joy or uncertainty all together.
And we have common questions often hit us all (especially to solopreneur, freelancer who are starting alone): From where to start? Who is my ideal customer? How will l market my business? What different my product/services from the competitions?
And the only way to answers those questions is to start by these 4 steps-guide.
Research will help you to answer questions based on the reality of your market.
Business plan helps focus on the specific steps necessary to make our business idea succeed, but it also helps to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
And because, being solo-entrepreneur, freelancer is not always easy, make sure to always ask friends, people you trust to either guide you or take you to another level!
Enjoy the journey and remember, entrepreneurship is about constant opportunities to learn and grow.
Being in love is great. Being in love with your business, when you’re an entrepreneur, is all what we need. Waking up each morning knowing you are getting to do exactly what you love is more than most people could ever say about any “job” they have had. Although there are days when tossing in your hat seems like a viable option, remembering how much you love your “job” can quickly snap an entrepreneur out of that mentality.
And if we think of it, entrepreneurship is possibly just another manifestation of being in love. Both have highs and lows. They both transform you from within. So what are the common points?
The weekend is at the corner and my mind is already out there.
We all know that Ayia Napa and Protaras are highly popular among tourists and locals alike. Famous for their sandy beaches and rich cuisine, they have all the ingredients for the perfect summer (and all seasons actually) holiday or long weekend. But the region is about more than sun and beaches: Ayia Napa and Protaras are rich in history and home to picturesque white and blue colours churches and chapels, dotted along the seafront with stunning views.

Are you ready to think like an entrepreneur?
On the Westside of Limassol, a short distance from the ancient kingdom of Kourion, an impressive sanctuary, dedicated to Apollo Hylates is located. This nickname states that the ancient god of beauty and music, used to be worshiped as the protector of forests in this area.
Indeed, the place that was considered from antiquity as one of the main religious centers of ancient Cyprus, is located in an area with a lot of wild and bushy vegetation, which would have probably been even more dense and lush at that time.
A new year beautifully symbolizes a new chapter opening in the book that is your life. But while so many people like you aspire to achieve ambitious goals, only 12% of you will ever experience the taste of victory. Sound bad?
Most of us will probably give up on their resolution before you can say “confetti.” Keep on reading to know why we don't need New Year's resolutions.
And all of this because resolutions are unreal. Here’s what to do instead.
Skiing in Cyprus!
At the top of the Troodos Mountains one can also find the only Skiing Center in Cyprus. Here, one can take advantage of the pleasures of Winter Sports under the beautiful Mediterranean blue sky.
Skiing can be enjoyed on the slopes of Mount Olympus (1951 metres a.s.l.), usually from the beginning of January until the end of March. Mount Olympus is only 2 km, from Troodos mountain resort, 12 km from Platres mountain resort, and about an hour’s drive from the seaside town of Limassol and the Capital, Nicosia.
This time of the year is a busy one as they are in the heat of the fast approaching holiday season. It is important to begin to organize and tidy up all key aspects of your business for the end of the calendar year.
If you are an SME, here are seven major things that should be on your business’ end of year list:
1. Review your finance.
It will tell you the truth of where your business is, based on which you can review the past year and plan for the future. Get some help from an accountant or bookkeeper who can be your trusted financial guide.
2. Documentation Management
No company can exist without constant data and information being passed both internally and externally. All files and data created by your business should be properly catalogued and backed up in a secure location.
3. Set Smart Goals
Ask yourself the hard questions: Did you accomplish all that you planned to do? Why or why not? How can you improve on current goals? What were the challenges and milestones met during the year? These are essential. Based on these reflections, you can set future goals.
4. Plan your budget
A detailed and realistic budget is one of the most important tools for guiding your business. A budget provides essential information for operating.
5. Celebrate your achievements
Before the year runs out, let's raise a toast to your achievements and celebrate these accomplishments. Take the time to congratulate yourselves for surviving (crushing) another year – and an exceptionally challenging one – in the business world.
Take account of all the goals you achieved and the expectations you either met or exceeded and look closely at what worked and how you did it to focus on replicating these successes in the future.
What are you most proud of? What were some of the biggest 'wins' in your business this year?
Business Christmas Wishes for Entrepreneurs are real! And here are mine for you all... at least 6 & way more!
The largest mountain range in Cyprus stretching cross a third of the island, is the Troodos mountains. Located at the western side of Cyprus, its highest peak also known as Chionistra, is 1,952 meters high. A cool escape during the summer months at the green heart of the island and a snow filled winter destination with four ski slopes.
When we support a small business, we do support an actual person (and this is why she does a little dance💃); but we also and mainly support a dream. ❤️
Technology has made it easy to start a small business from home and here's a list of some benefits!
Did you know that about the salt lake of Larnaca?⤵️
Other than the stunning sunset that offers the salt lake of Larnaca, in the winter months, typically November through March, tens of thousands of beautiful migratory birds visit the Salt Lakes, the pink flamingos being the most common visitors!
Larnaca Salt Lake is a protected area and is one of the most important European waterfowl habitats.
Especially with the end of the year rush. Coffee is a must!
Keep going everyone!
📌 Save this post for the days you will need a reminder that Entrepreneurship is not an easy path but so much worth it!
It’s actually the less traveled one, with more treacherous terrain. It comes with higher rates of failure, financial instability, unknowns, and stiff competition.

Who said Cyprus is only about beaches?
Kourion is sure for the best sights, attractions and the best things to do in Cyprus. The archaeological site of Kourion is on a hill-side just outside the city of Limassol (on the southwest side of the island).
