Shuhada Mosque in Medina, built at place, where the important battle at the Uhud mountains in 625 AD between Prophet Muhammad´s army and Mekka´s army was fought🕌🌙

Prophet´s Mosque in Medina, the second mosque established by Prophet Muhammad in Medina (is buried there as well), the huge umbrellas protect the pilgrims from the sun, there are 250 of them. Unfortunately, not only the huge mosque itself, but the vast fenced inner courtyard around the mosque are not accessable for non-muslim🕌🌙

Quba Mosque, the first mosque I admired in Medina at sunrise and coinincidentally the first mosque ever built in Islam, by Prophet Mohammed in 622 AD, the year of his exile from Mecca to Medina, the start of the Islamic calendar🕌🌙
