I absolutely romanticise my life reading a book with tea and cookies on the side, a cat on my lap and my non-existent chimney warming me up 🔥 (replace it with modern heating and chaos in the house with cats running around the place - it's more like it 🥲)

Hey guys, I'm back! 🍂
After a long hiatus due to work, I am finally able to pick up where I left off and start baking for myself again...

I'm really glad with how this cake turned out considering I made it following a work injury that left me with a messed up back, tailbone and elbow 🙃
I am also super thankful to my friend who came to help me whisk whisk whisk that damn pineapple curd and keep me company in this looooong process that is making a wedding cake so thank you again for your help ☀️

Now, about this cake, what we have is:
~ the moistest vanilla cake with
~ pineapple curd in between the layers, topped with
~ pineapple pieces poached in tonka bean and vanilla pineapple caramelised syrup, frosted with
~ vanilla buttercream, decorated with real flowers and pineapple flowers

A very pineapple-y cake as you can see! 🍍 (Who would think, considering I'm allergic to it 🥲)
