What an amazing start to the Riders Cricket Club indoor cricket training. After 2 years of battling to get the best indoor facility for Riders Cricket Club by Clubs Mangement and Bryan, We finally got the place and got the first training sessions on Saturday 09.11.2019.

Atul and Vikram went on a thrashing mode and especially in the last 5-6 overs.
that turned the match gradually in our favour. Vikram scored a blistering half century consisiting of 5 sixes.

1.2.3...Riders

So guys, the Riders had their first outdoor outings of the season yesterday. It was a lovely sunday mostly full of warmth and intermittent clouds and we couldn't have asked for a better day to kickoff our preparations for the new season.
We are happy to announce that we grabbed this opportunity with both hands and started the season with a bang.

It was a 40-over match and our rivals were Köln CC.
Köln CC batted first and scored 200 all out in 28 overs. It was an impressive display from our bowlers. Nagu and Kakajan started beautifully with the new ball and Kunwar and debutant Vasanth wrapped things up.

We chased down the target in just 26.4 overs. Sabah and Mohit played beautiful knocks and built a gritty partnership. Nagu also anchored the innings in the middle. But it was the fireworks from Vikram that turned the match gradually in our favour. Vikram scored a blistering half century consisiting of 7 sixes. And to wrap things up, Kakajan smashed a 7 ball 23, the icing on cake being finishing the game with a six.

Yes, we still have some issues to fix. For one, slight butter fingers which cost us some chances and another, we need to control the extras we give.

But all in all, a very positive start for the Riders. A rewarding and insightful game. Let's work on our weaknesses and emerge on top this season!

He brings vast experience of professional Cricket and has represented cricket on different levels, such as Bundesliga, Western Eagles and Germany's national team.
