Dear 2020,
I don’t want to throw you away.
You’ve been a journey. For me as every year before you and every year to come.
So it felt like on a boat across the ocean, floating and still floating and not knowing what will be.
You made us see, how everything is not there forever. That we can’t take anything for granted.
I didn’t learn this only from you, but this year when so many said that you are the bad guy, for me it was the opposite. You gave me an utterly great opportunity to show myself the resilience I’ve been collecting over time and get up and do, instead of waiting in agony. Nothing is forever and nothing is for sure and so may it be. I hope I’ll be able to spend my years to come with the people I love, with good health, lots of music, dancing and singing. I know I gotta take care of that. But hey…your brothers and sisters that came before you, have prepared me for this, as did you. May everyone who has had hardship find light.

Today on Christmas eve I sang with the online service at Sankt Agatha Church in Weissach im Tal. Thank you to the Kirchengemeinde Weissach im Tal and pastor Jonathan Pfander for the opportunity to be part of the online church service.

Heute Heiligabend-Gottesdienst und Morgen zum 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag um 10 Uhr ebenfalls in der Sankt Agatha Kirche in Unterweissach werde ich wieder singen - diesmal live. Es gibt ein klein wenig Weihnachtsoratorium, ein Weihnachtslied und das Cantique de Noël von Adolphe Adam. Eine große Sängerfreude in diesem Jahr für mich! Vielen Dank an die Kirchengemeinde Weissach im Tal und Pfarrer Jonathan Pfander für die Möglichkeit die Gottesdienste in diesem ungewöhnlichen Jahr mitzugestalten. Wünsche allen frohe Weihnachten und herzerwärmende Feiertage!
