Thank you everyone at Musiktheater im Revier for helping me both on and off the stage for today's last minute jump in! It's been a thrill getting to sing Robert again for the first time since last season. To do so on your closing performance in your beautiful hall is a real privilege. What a crazy weekend of Rossini and Tchaikovsky! Two polar opposites musically but similarly fairytale pieces. What a crazy life we lead in theater eh?

Beethovens Aufschrei: Neujahrs-Neunte in der Wunderino Arena Kiel Traditionell erklingt am Neujahrstag an vielen Orten Ludwig van Beethovens berühmte Neunte Symphonie d-Moll op. 125. In der bestens besuchten Wunderino-Philharmonie stellten auch die Kieler Philharmoniker, diesmal unter Daniel Carlberg, ihre aktuelle Interpretation zur Diskussion.

Falstaff: Ein Meisterwerk in bester Besetzung | KIELerleben Am vergangenen Samstag feiert mit „Falstaff“ eine Oper in Kiel Premiere, die künstlerischen Anspruch mit sagenhafter Leichtigkeit vereint.

Thank you especially to our Regisseurin & Dirigent Maestro .cilluffo for the guidance and direction along the way to our premiere night. I'm so proud of what we've put out for the public collectively, and personally, I'm proud I learned how to navigate an 'out of fach' under the circumstances (especially with the Kieler Opernhaus acoustic. If you know, YOU KNOW!). Enjoy the rest of the performances, my fellow cast members, and let's all laugh together till we close in March!

Songs and Suppression | Jewish Center of the Hamptons Join us for an evening immersed in classical music featuring pianist Constanze Beckmann and baritone Samuel Chan, as they feature works of Jewish-German composers Walter Braunfels and Hanns Eisler!

Happy Premiere of Verdi’s Otello at Oper Kiel! It’s been a privilege to work with the entire cast, music staff, crew, and Regieteam for this production! The story on the stage that we’re exploring is one of trauma from war, the cruelty of mysogeny, and the effect of manipulation which leads to the suffering of others. It is extremely poignant to be showcasing such themes during these times, where these themes directly highlight the daily lives of millions currently fighting for their freedoms in Ukraine. May we all find more compassion and wish for peace for others, and find ways to help those in need.
