The balinese culture.

One of the most interesting mythologies, we think, involve the creatures Barong and Rangda, which embody this eternal struggle between good and evil.

Barong is seen as a gentle, kind-hearted male, depicted as a lion with a feathery tail. He leads the lleague of Good, is the constant enemy of the demon queen Rangda, and is the leader of all spiritual guardians in Bali's mythological tradition. The name Barong originates from the local term bahruang, which can be translated into the Indonesian word beruang, meaning honey bear or bear.
