I am so p**sed off that Australia did a Royal Commission about locking kids way back in 2016 after what happened in the Don Dale juvenile detention centre ..with the government accepting 227 recommendations from the Report ...but nothing much appears to be changing. Every year in Australia over 2400 children are incarcerated and every dam person that spoke in the 4 Corners Report on telly the other night said they all know that locking kids up only makes kids worse....

I have a thing about plastic but not enough to remember to carry with me my calico bags so what pi**es me off is I'm a hypocrite as well. My guilt at not being the total brown paper bag N**i was made a little easier as my local council had this great program called REDcycled. It now turns out this great little business, set up by a mum who was worried about plastic use (it's now run by 7 mums), is the primary recycler of soft plastics in Australia and has had to "temporarily" shut down as its been forced to stockpile their collections from more than 2000 supermarkets instead of recycling it....
