The FUN of TRAVELER’S Notebook 👀 So yesterday evening, I decided to do something... 🧸

I added a touch of warmth to my cover with a drawing of a bear, elephant, and flower. I also included the names of my husband and son in beautiful Mandarin writing.

Alongside, I added two meaningful Mandarin phrases that have really resonated with me lately - “eat slowly (慢慢吃饭)” and “feel your breath (感受呼吸)”. To complete the picture, I incorporated lyrics from Harry Styles’ , a song that has truly touched my heart for a long time now.

Personalizing this cover was such a joyous experience. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I absolutely loved every moment of the creative process and the final result.

I hope you find it as endearing as I do!

There’s a lot to do as you can imagine, so I can’t put a date when the online shop will be back or when the retail store will be open. Please bare with me 😭

I am nervous, oh ya, it might not seem like it but very. So many people choose to close down their store and here I am, go and open one.

Regardless, you know what? Actually all of this makes me excited, I can’t wait to set up the store, even if it’s just a small space; my heart is tingling to bring more color, sun, sweetness, fun and weirdness to KIROKU~

Today, a project that been postponed for many months 🍃

My studio office are just a room, one average room size. All the products are inside too. So you can imagine how crazy it is whenever there’s new products and packages coming in, it’s super crowded. Sometime I have to “borrow” our living room.

However, I still insist on having two desks. One are for work (laptop, emails, packing orders, etc), another one (this one on photo) are more personal (journaling, alone time, drawing, craft, creating, etc).

It’s very important for me to have two different zones even thought I don’t have a big room or office yet.

So ya, I am super thankful I manage to make it work ^^
