I am deeply grateful to Jan for performing the last two gigs alone. My much-needed vacation was a true rejuvenation. Now that I'm back, I am eagerly anticipating the wonderful and extensive studio production ahead. I will return to the stage for the next gigs with a profound sense of gratitude.

SUPERBOOTH 2023 was amazing! Here is part 2 of some of my favorite module discoveries and meetups!

Superbooth is a melting pot of many artists from different genres, skill levels and origins! This alone makes it worth the while and some people only come for that very reason.

If you’re a German Synth nerd like me, you most definitely read one of .schmahl article on .de ! Really cool Meeting the one who’s responsible for many of my euros spend on gear! 😜

The Centre by is another cool Jack of all trades! You need a drone with 128 stacked wavetable Oscillators? No problem! „The Centre“ can load Serum patches (excluding the effect section) and offers a lot of versatile features. Definitively another interesting module!

Had great fun jamming with Distortion pedals (and might have accidentally damaged their mixer 😅🙃🤫)

Even though I don’t agree with prices, I gotta pay respect for their style! Definitively the most stylish booth that I saw!

surprised me with a „granular“ filter called „Grainity“. What is a granular filter? Hard to explain but fun to play around with. Definitely a unique filter that can go from tame to insane really quickly. This + Spectraphon by make noise = Sound designers‘ wet dreams 🥵

I really enjoyed all the artists shows, that I’ve watched all the deep (or not so deep 🤣) conversations I had and all the expensive toys I played with!

Can’t wait to be back at Superbooth 2024! 🫶🚀

Most interesting new Oscillator(s):
1. Spectraphon - really amazing sound design possibilities and that’s before you even touch a filter or Distortion!

2. .instruments WARP - again amazing sound source! 16x32 wavetables which you can morph through and a very good looking UI! And most amazingly: Neuzeit Instruments is ran by just one talented man! Crazy!

Sequencers:
1. By far the most interesting concept was presented by ! Basically an Ableton Push with countless CV ins and outs on steroids!
