I just removed my beloved gut from my to put some steel strings back on it.

Aye yes, I‘m playing bass again.

Coming Saturday (6pm at ) l’m supporting the KSO, a symphony orchestra from Kassel, my home town.
We play the well known concerto by , an enjoyable g minor Ouverture by and the 9th by .

I first joined their rehearsals yesterday and hey: I‘m enjoying playing - and again!

It is fun.
Great music and always enjoyable, giving the others the bass we‘re all craving for. :-)

And nice at the same time to know I‘m not doing that every day but coming back to my at times, producing new ideas, play some rock, do some coaching and so on.

I‘m truly enjoying my life.

After a long day in at the ‚Mitgliederversammlung‘ (gathering of all members who wanna participate) I had a quiet way home to my lovely hosts.
First time I‘m being part of this event and an onslaught of impressions - but good! Many new people, quite all of them new to me anyway.
Altogether a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Aye aye dear people!
From today on my sound is online on bandcamp.com, so I am absolutely curious if you guys use this platform to discover and support artist like me???

I’m back!

Diving deep, exploring sound and soul, finding incredible things, having been desperate and so on.
It’s been a while since my last post - sorry for that!

It’s a long way to run for me to gain some consistency within the social media world and publicity in general.
I’ve got the tendency to hide away for a while and yes, the while could take quite a while.

Sure enough I haven’t been idle.
I’m currently mixing number six of my album, yes, number six!
Which means that I am planning to let this biggest of my music babies go out to the world still this year.
And what a year it has been.
Won’t bother you with details right now.

But I will honestly try to keep you up to date from now on and tell you more about the stuff I’m doing. I might go into more sound-technical stuff, can’t avoid that one.
Anyhow, emotions surely are the biggest part of it. As we use to say we do things “with heart”, I could say I’m doing things “with ear”. It’s a direct connection there, unexplainable (no matter the countless tries), purely magical, physical non the less.
That’s the thing: physic IS magic.
I guess we just forget due to our (bad) habit to get used to things.

Enough for now, don’t wanna spill it all today and miss my promise to learn consistency!

Keep the fire burning!

So what to do with a bunch of wooden floor from the apartment we - finally - moved out???
Sure thing:
Let‘s put it into Kaptain‘s cave!!!

I‘m still in the middle of my album production process and I could have imagined there‘d been a more suitable time for such extra effort.
Well, couldn‘t have delayed it any more. It‘s not handy to store half a ton of wood in your cellar to move it again somewhere else…

But hey, I‘ve got shining bright parquet now lying in my precious studio brightening all the voice tracks that still need to be made. No complains about that.
Playing cello sounds much nicer now too.
Nevertheless, I won‘t repeat all the tracking with the new sounding cave! ;-)

It has become an amazing working place for me. Acoustically, visually and emotionally highly inspiring, it showed me long time before I‘ll finally finish my first album that it is worth to fight for my sound visions.
I was never the type for quick solutions. This one might be my slowest - and finest one.

Today is my last Never Alone concert within the bunkers walls.

Sometimes it is so simple to enjoy life. Just breathing and looking into the sky. I still love to swing :-)

Sometimes little things move me.
Yesterday I rescued an injured bee out of our staircase. She (I guess) quickly got that I wanted to help her and hung unto my hand like on a lifebelt. I was quite sure that she would‘t make it much further, all energy gone..
When I brought her to some flowers outside she began to drink with such eagerness that I began changing my mind. What a surviving will!
When I found this nice leaf surrounded by good smelling flowers I left her there with some good hope for her future.
Just a few minutes of my life, this felt so real. Inspiring. Fight for life!

The music bunker in
Bettenhausen is actually
not to be overlooked, but as a venue so far did not appear. The bunker that has been converted into a rehearsal room center had an event hall to be discovered in the Babylonian maze of corridors. Kaptain Clocks, real name Konstantin Uhrmeister, gave a concert there on Friday evening.
Interestingly, he made the eighth appearance in his "Never alone" series as a soloist with electric guitar and vocals. The musician had recorded all other instruments beforehand, saved them on a laptop and then called them up as an "accompanying band".
He wanted to party, which was difficult in three ways: without a live band, with fewer than ten guests in a huge room at a cool 15°C room temperature. Undaunted, Kaptain Clocks unwound his program, mixing his own compositions with eighth-staccato power chords and more relaxed numbers from his favorite bands Foo Fighters and Radiohead. The multi-instrumentalist
still sees himself developing and wants to finish his first album in the course of this year. The next concert at the same place will be after Easter.“
