Mountaineers
Hand made teddy bears and other animals for collectors. Even as a child I enjoyed handcrafts. Later the bears "happened". The emergence of "The Mountaineers".
I can not tell you when it was (it must be more than 20 years now!), but after I had visited a design course, I created the first more classic bears from my own designs. Today I most like to make nature bears. Here I use mainly alpaca and leather. In between, there are also small editions of classic bears and other animals.

After sewing teddy bears for over 25 years now, I thought it was time for something new. So I took part in a doll workshop in the Netherlands on April 21st and 22nd. That's where little "Awina" was born. Of course I sewed her a little bear 😄
