Depuis sa genèse dans les profondeurs du metal extrême en 2000, Nocturnal a forgé son chemin à travers les méandres de l'underground. Originaire de la scène fertile de la Ruhr, la virtuosité et la virulence de ce quatuor infernal du black/thrash n'est plus à prouver.

La discographie du groupe, on peut le dire est un pur manifeste explosif, cristallisant leur son impitoyable et leur penchant pour l'occultisme. A travers sa musique, Nocturnal propage son message sombre traitant de la mort, du satanisme et du mal tout simplement. Pour ne citer qu'eux, les albums Violent Revenge (2009) et Storming Evil (2014) ont sculpté un chemin meurtrier à travers les paysages du metal extrême.

Nocturnal c'est évidemment la subtile alliance (c'est faux) entre la brutalité du thrash metal et le côté ténébreux du black metal. Les riffs acérés, les rythmes frénétiques et les hurlements déchirants de Invoker s'entrelacent pour former un kaléidoscope musical sanglant.

MANIACS!!! Here we are: Nocturnal is the last group to present to you before tackling a big week of festival setup. Fire !!

Since its genesis in the depths of extreme metal in 2000, Nocturnal has forged its way through the twists and turns of the underground. Originating from the fertile scene of the Ruhr, the virtuosity and virulence of this infernal black/thrash quartet no longer needs to be proven.

The group's discography, it can be said, is a pure explosive manifesto, crystallizing their ruthless sound and their penchant for the occult. Through his music, Nocturnal spreads his dark message dealing with death, Satanism and simply evil. To name a few, the albums Violent Revenge (2009) and Storming Evil (2014) carved a deadly path through the landscapes of extreme metal.

Nocturnal is obviously the subtle alliance (this is false) between the brutality of thrash metal and the dark side of black metal. Invoker's razor-sharp riffs, frenetic rhythms and heartbreaking screams intertwine to form a bloody musical kaleidoscope.

In times where AI seems to take over creativity and art instead our sh*tty jobs, it’s important to put some of the people in the spotlight who are responsible for a huge part of our metal culture. Mark Riddick (RIDDICKART) (Who also did a tour shirt design for us for our 2017 South American tour) discussed his fave artworks in a podcast along some other guys and their faves from 2000 until today ! So take yourself about 5 hours away from whatever you’re doing to listen to some nerd talk about artwork and heavy metal ! Check the video out YouTube ! Anyway, one of the artwork’s discussed is .illustration cover art for the „Possessed Creations“ compilation CD which we released back in 2010 to partly fund our USA tour in 2011. Josh was also responsible for the tour shirt design of that said tour. The logo with the demon taken from that artwork was made as a patch years ago and it’s used on flyers and gig posters to this day !

After two years of absence, this well known German unholy Thrash Metal band is back together. If we are not mistaking, the last time they came in Belgium was almost three years ago to Brussels, so we are glad to announce you that NOCTURNAL will be back here on Saturday 23th September… Can’t wait.

Après deux années de pause, ce groupe Thrash Allemand bien connu est de retour.
