Welcome to my little corner on facebook where I post pictures of my crochet projects.

Hullo,

The last 3 days I worked on some music box toys again. Both patterns are by lalylala.

I also started on the CAL '1001 Nights' by SisHomemade, it's the first time I'm doing Mosaic Crochet, but the first square already was so much fun, looking forward to the next ones!

So long,
Fussel

Hey there,

In July I worked on a chameleon music box as part of a baby gift for my supervisor at Work as well as an owl music box just for fun. The patterns are by lalylala.
I am currently on vacation and couldn't resist packing some yarn to create another chameleon music box.

Hullo,

It was just recently that I shared a finished shawl with you.
Well today I present you with yet another slightly Harry Potter inspired "Mona" by Mona's Maschen mit Herz . This time I used yarn by Chiemseegarn in the colour "Schneenacht".
The pattern has become one of my favourites over the years and every few projects I return to it. By now I almost know it by heart.
The shawl is going to its new owner on Monday.

So long,
Fussel

Hullo,

it has been ages since I posted something here. Some projects I didn't take photos of, others are in a box full of unfinished items, because I am currently procrastinating a loooot.
But I decided to show you one of my recently finished projects today. I made another "Mona" shawl by Mona's Maschen mit Herz. This time I used a colorgradient yarn by Fadenhexe called "Abendrot". I got this one in an advent calender a few years ago and finally turned it into something beautiful. Unfortunately the colors look a little bit brighter on the photos than they actually are.
As I know the recipient likes Harry Potter I added golden pearls to the last row, with a little metal lion head pearl in the center.

Fussel

Hey there,
Easter is just around the corner. In my family we usually give each other small gifts like chocolate or socks. As we're going to visit my "aunt" I decided to include her in the tradition and am currently working on a pair of decorative potholders. I hope she will like them.

Hey there,

First of all a late Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones.
I have just finished a little blanket to warm my legs, whenever I sit at my desk or on the couch.
I used my Sterntropfen Mini Advent Calendar in rainbow pastel colours (3000m of 4-ply yarn) as well as half a yarn-cake from Woll-Olymp (Andromeda, 4-ply, 2000m).
As I wanted the blanket to be chunky, I folded my yarn over and worked with 3 strands at the same time, so instead of working with 4-ply yarn I worked with 12-ply yarn.
The blanket is approximately 1,10m x 1,20m in size and weights roughly 1000g. I used a 4,5mm crochet hook.

Fussel

Hey there,

today I finished a lovely little baby blanket in super soft modal yarn. If it wasn't so small, I'd keep it for myself :D

Just received my first utensilo from Jenny's KreativBox . I am super happy with it. The included colorgradient yarn-cake from Bobbelkatz - Bobbel zum Schnurren 🧶🐈‍⬛ is just icing on the top!
Go check them both out.

Work in progress... Currently crocheting a seahorse for a little girl's 3rd birthday coming up soon 🥳

Hey there,

almost 2 weeks ago I finished this beautiful little mermaid and totally forgot to share her here on facebook, as I had to wait until I gave her to a friend, as her daughter wanted a handmade mermaid doll.
As I didn't want to work on a mermaid with "typical" colors, I instead looked for inspiration elsewhere and came up with this unique little darling. I worked in a thread with sequins for the tail and there is actually a lurex thread worked into the bra, but the camera didn't catch that.
The beautiful pattern is by Frollein Häkelfein and can be found on crazypatterns.net.

Hello,
I was allowed to test out Mona's Maschen mit Herz newest shawl pattern "Fründsküppen", which has finally released. You can find the pattern on crazypatterns.net:

Hello,

I totally forgot to share pictures of the finished shawl "Mona" by Ramona Baden. The CAL was a lot of fun and I decided to add pearls to the last row of both shawls.
While I will keep the coffee colored one, the purple one was recently gifted to my mother as a birthday present.
So now that you are updated on the end results of the CAL I am going to hide in my crochet cave again.

See you when I emerge next time!

Fussel

Hello there,

as you may see from the picture I am still working on the CAL for the shawl Mona by Mona's Maschen mit Herz. I finished part 5 yesterday, so only two more parts before these two beauties will finally be finished.
I already decided after part 4 that I am going to add some pearls to the last row (or last few rows) of the coffee-colored shawl. As I already own the complete pattern for the shawl I am always itching to just open it up and do the rest of the shawls at once, but I try to stay patient.

So long,
Fussel

I am currently making good progress on the CAL Mona by Mona's Maschen mit Herz. I have finished part 3 with both yarn cakes this evening and am looking forward to when part 4 will be released. I am happy that we are almost "half finished" as the CAL consists of 7 parts.

As the last part of the pattern for the Morben Design All together CAL is probably soon to be posted and working on only one CAL would be boring, here is a picture of my two(!) WIPs for the Mona CAL by Mona's Maschen mit Herz. Both are 4-ply colorgradient yarn cakes that I work with a 3,5mm crochet hook, this time by Haekelnadelparadies.

22/05/2021

As if I don't have enough WIP projects right now. I started the All Together CAL by Morben Design - Die Gruppe today. The yarncake is by Idas-Wollstube 🧶, the hook is a 4.0mm Zebrano wood one by Rabenhölzer.

When one of my favorite designers and my favorite yarn supplier come together:

One of my current projects is a Syksy Shawl by Morben Design (part of the 4 Seasons designs). I am using this very beautiful color gradient yarn by Bobbelkatz - Bobbel & Selbstgesträkeltes ❤. It is 3-ply and has a total of 1500m lengths with pearls every ten meters. To go with it I chose a 3.0mm Cocobolo crochet hook by Rabenhölzer.

P.S.: Don't mind the pyjama pants, it's just more comfortable :P

Good late evening everyone,

today I felt like doing something delicate and decided to crochet a little angel. You know the ones you can put over LED tealights?
Well, there is a twist to the project. Instead of using the suggested yarn (125m/50g) and hook size (2,5mm) I decided to use DMC 80 Spécial Dentelles lace yarn (97m/5g) in the colors 948 and 977 as well as a 0,75mm crochet hook.

The angel is approximately 3,5cm tall and 3cm in diameter. The pattern is by Elke Eder (found on crazypattern).

Hello everyone,

I haven't been that inspired to post on facebook lately, but I hope to get more into it. So just as a quick post, here's a photo of my growing collection of crochet hooks.
Oh and by the way I started a blog, where I plan to talk about crochet related topics and maybe post a few WIPs or finished projects as well. You can find it here: fusselkeks.art

So long,
Fussel

Currently experimenting: I want to use glow-in-the-dark embroidery thread for a shawl, so I made a small Granny square first to test out how good you can work with it. Now I have it sit on the windowsill in direct sunlight to test out how strong it will glow. Wish me luck!

Just browsed my harddrive for some older projects I did. I think the kitten (pattern by Anatillea) and tiger (pattern by LittleMuggles) have been some of my first amigurumi, I made them probably 5 or 6 years ago as a gift.
The lion is a custom music box I made by combining multiple crochet patterns, I think the body was the same as the tiger, but I don't know about the head and mane anymore.
The doll, which my mom named Anabelle (or Bella for short), is made following a pattern by HavvaÜnlü, she is about two years old now.

I'm thinking of taking some photos of past projects I made and some of the WIPs I currently work on within the next few days. I do have an almost finished project as well, but as it is going to be an Easter present I won't be able to post pictures of it here for the next few days.

Hello and welcome to my little corner on facebook. My name is Fusselkeks, but you may call me Fussel for short. I like to crochet and thought it might be nice to have a place to myself where I can post pictures of my work.
