The Sigmund Snopek III documentary is now available on YouTube. If you remember or want to know more about "Snopek", the Band, our heyday and vanishing act , episode 3 might be interesting. I watched it last night. I think Nick Toti and Bob Mielke did a touching job on that period. Check it out.

Wow, was für eine Nacht liegt hinter uns und wir sind immer noch überwältigt von all den tollen Momenten, der Musik und der Gemeinschaft, die wir erleben durften.

Vielen Dank an alle, die Teil dieses besonderen Abends waren. Eure Energie und Begeisterung haben die 15. GAP live Night wieder zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht.

Byron is back - Update:
As most of you know, I do mostly private gigs these days.

I do miss playing on stage with a Stratocaster in a rock band, that’s true. (I try to avoid the Blues when I do so). My drummer, Andreas Keller, is playing drums with “Spider Murphy Gang”, a very popular Bavarian rock band” so he’s very busy. I miss playing with him. My wonderful bass player, Annika Strobel lives in Hamburg and I miss playing with her as well. Also there are not many places to play. “Village” would be my first choice. Playing in Munich in a progressive rock band makes no sense. Sooooo…

More and more, I do enjoy my solo gigs. It seems to me that people really want to sing with. My Repertoire has evolved, my looper still has built-in surprises so I enjoy that a lot. It feels like we’re all in it together, the audience and me. Singing for a couple hours does my body and soul good. Yours too!

I love doing gigs like the one I did in “GAP Night” a week ago. Everyone in Garmisch asked me the same question; “Are you playing for “BMW Motorrad Days” this year?. I guess after 13 years and then Corona, the answer is “yes”.
So…
July 5th and 6th I will be in Garmisch for “BMW Motorrad Days” We expect 30.000 people to show up. It’s quite a scene. Ich freue mich drauf.

The legendary “Sundowner” concerts at “Strandbad and Kitchen”, St. Heinrich will happen. It depends mostly on the weather outlook and when I have free time. End of May, beginning of June, looks like. I will post a few days in advance. If you want to be notified, give me a what’s app. Or check their Homepage.

I will be on the island of Crete from 11.05. till 25.05. I will do a concert or two while I'm there. Most likely at "Kouros" in Koutsounari. I will be working on songs as well.

Today (May 5th)is the premiere of the "Sigmund Snopek III" documentary at "Linnemann's" in Milwaukee. (Great club) and I wish I could be there. I worked for 10 crazy years with this creative man. We had a lot of fun. I will be in the film. It's six and a half hours long. (Think "Das Boot")....:0)
Sig and I wrote ca. 80 songs in those years. All unique.
The band, "Snopek" did at least 200 gigs at Summerfest on the comedy stage. Two shows a day for 6 years. A lot of people remember that. I certainly do. I hope to see the documentary soon.
