R.S.S is driven by a passion for high-speed rythms, delivering sets that range from 175 to 220 BPM and focus on Crossbreed, with nods to Industrial Hardcore and Breakcore.
She started her project in 2008, developing a flair for both turntables and production.
After taking a break from the decks to work with labels and as a promoter some years ago, she made her decisive comeback as a DJ in late 2021 upon relocating to Berlin.

Now well established in the party capital, she specialises in hard, broken bass-heavy beats balanced with punishing 4/4 rhythms.
R.S.S has played various livesets and DJ sets across Europe—in places like France, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland— as well as in North America, with performances spanning Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.A.
She has been sharing stages with renowned artists affiliated with labels or collectives such as Industrial Strength, Therapy Sessions, PRSPCT, Masters of Hardcore, Hong Kong Violence (...) and performing regularly at large events like Boomtown Fair or F**kparade, igniting dancefloors worldwide.

BOI YOU SHOULD’VE KNOWN BY NOW, STEEZY DUZ IT !

Born and raised in the streets of Rotterdam, from a very young age, Steezy has spent a lot of his time curating music edits and involving himself with the local music scene in the Netherlands. This is why, at the age of 16, he started an internship at Triphouse Rotterdam — a collective of local DJs and creatives, that also acted as a record store/club. It was also the place where his passion for underground music grew. Spending most of his time in their headquarters, Steezy got inspired by techno, house & electro music and started to learn how to mix his favorite sounds like hardcore and jungle too.
Fast forwards to today, Steezy is now based in Berlin and has made a name for himself by playing at underground parties over the years. Running his own underground electronic label, as well as promoting his own events, these experiences have helped him evolve his style to include more techno, early rave, breakbeat, bootyhouse, kuduro, jungle and drum & bass. With this evolution in style, his musical style consists of a perceptible sound journey that has also been featured on Operator Radio, Radio WORM, PRSPCT Radio and Radio Quantica — just to name a few. His live sets have reached the ear of people in France, Slovenia, Italy, Germany and Austria, proving that his musical progression knows no bounds. You can hear more of his sound on SoundCloud or follow his steez on instagram: instagram.com/steezyduzit/

ESOTERIC NOISE! DISTORTION! BREAKS! HARDCORE!

This is Slavetosociety, the heavyweight solo alias of Andrew Bowen AKA Andro from AnD.
After a decade of redefining techno dance floors with his partner DIMI as AnD, Andrew Bowen has returned to his experimental, hardware-focused roots as Slave To Society.

Launched in October 2019 with an eponymous limited edition white label release for BANK Records NYC in Oct 2019, Bowen has gone on to use murky new world order politics and societal disorder as inspiration for his jam-based productions, which so far have been released on underground techno labels like Ohm Resistance and revered hardcore institutions like Mokum Records.

Heavy distortion and abrasive sounds have been with Bowen since first locking on to hardcore as a teenager. These elements were present in his previous work as AnD and in collaboration with Repitch artists D. Carbone, Shapednoise and Ascion as D.A.S. D.A., but now they are coming to the fore with Slave To Society, which references jungle, breakcore, hardcore, noise, techno and industrial hip hop – without being beholden to any one genre or tempo.
Slave To Society live shows and DJ sets will begin at 60BPM and end up well over 200BPM! DJ sets are always multilayered and sonically rich excursions across four decks, with livesets utilising guitar pedals, modular synths, controllers and lots of feedback to give it that Slave To Society sound.

As Slave To Society, Bowen has performed killer shows at PRSPCT XL and Unpolished in the Netherlands and a secret Brooklyn warehouse event with OUTLAW NYC.
In June 2022, BANK Records NYC released Bowen's debut album under the moniker, an 8-track limited edition record called Terror Corporation. With follow up releases due out on PRSPCT Recordings and Murder Channel, Bowen's "go hard or go home" mantra has finally found its audience.

Our Story

SUBLAND, a club dedicated to bassdriven music, established 2011 in the old transformer plant at Wiesenweg 5 in Berlin - Lichtenberg.

This was one of the few remaining underground locations in Berlin.
Situated between the three stations of Nöldnerplatz, Frankfurter Allee, Ostkreuz..Easy to reach.

As the name implies, the Subland Club combined subculture and bassdriven music in a unique atmosphere.
This was Berlins only location offering the darker electronic sounds on a regular basis and showing the variations of electronic music.

Genres like Drum and Bass, Techno, Dubstep, Crossbreed, Hardcore, Breakcore, Industrial and Experimentalsounds were presented to the Berlin scene and to everyone who came from home and abroad.

Various Events like, Dub Der Guten Hoffnung, Drone, Hell Drop, Deathrave, Gabber Noir, Collapsed Reality, Surgical, just to name a few, found their homebase at Subland.

One of the annual highlights was the Subland Birthday Party (April 12th) where things just went crazy.
Not to forget the legendary Burn The Machine Festival, lasting over 3 days and nights, offering a high level of performing DJ's and live acts, surrounded by workshops, food, decoration and the traditional burning of the robot.
Burn The Machine attracted an international crowd, who shared the love of music presented in a very special way. There are no words to describe the atmosphere on that first November weekend.

Another aspect and great reason to spend the time at Subland was the friendly staff and awesome crowd you found there.
It instantly felt like home.
And for sure you had no problem making friends.

Last but not least, the sound system of the Bulgarian company Clear Sound provided the right amount of pressure to massage your body and soul.
Nobody will forget the red beast from the east!
If you have been at Subland, you remember the moment when you walked in! Priceless! A one of a kind sound & bass experience.
No words can describe, you has to experience to understand!

Subland was much more than just a venue, it was more like a home for many guests and also many national and international artists.

We remember this as an incredible venue with awesome nights, awesome artists and an awesome crowd!
Thank you for the wonderful time we'll never forget.
Special thanks goes to Dean&Oli for all the effort, energy and creativity they has put into this project. Thanks to all artists, thank's to all staff and thank's to all guests that made Subland to what it was!
SUBLAND, YOU`RE ON OUR MIND!

The Subland Club has now closed since 2015.
For all of us this was a bitter loss...
After intensive conversations with the former operators of Subland Club (Dean and Oli) the idea was born to continue the name in the form of events in different venues....

True to the motto "The party must go on"!

We didn't want and couldn't let the name die and started 2017 with the Subland Events to provide you with good parties.
Here with the focus on Drum and Bass...
We are aware that Subland was more than just drum and bass, that's why we're looking forward to hosting techno, breakcore, crossbreed and many more events in the future.

Prepare yourselves for upcoming events in different genres...

See you on the dance floor...
