Beside numerous remixes, from 2008 three songs in collaboration with Annakiya were released ("I am alive", "Vergessen" and "Nur einmal im Leben") until Marlon Weiss took a creative break for the project and took time to devote to other musical genres with the side projects "Maloni White" and "Emotional Affair".
2013 Xelerator revived. Being influenced by (Hard) Trance, House and Dance music, Xelerator alias Marlon Weiss worked in his studio to create something new, which follows both the rough sound of Electro House and Complextro and the melodic approach of Trance and Dance music. The result is a mix of these genres, which sounds fresh, innovative and new - without confusing the listener in the same moment. Another influence is mirrored by the vocals. While this type of epic, mystic vocals is originated in Hardstyle music, “Into Dawn” proves that these dark, powerful vocals can be optimally embedded in other genres. As the Original Mix unites different genres, the remix package is presented with the same quality, which is the reason for a twin release on Metrophonic Resistance and Sonic Flash. On Metrophonic Resistance, two label artists shake hands: Skyrosphere has delivered an amazing Hard Trance remix; Concept Art provide a phat Hardstyle Remix. The Sonic Flash remix release will enthrall all HandsUp / Dance fans with remixes by Dual Playaz and Mankee. Additionally you shouldn´t miss his first remix in the new style for the current release of Gainworx “Eternity”. Marlon Weiss rief 2002 das Projekt DJ Xelerator ins Leben. Ging es zunächst nur um das Auflegen in den eigenen 4 Wänden, begann er 2003 die ersten Gehversuche der eigenen Musikproduktion. Der Name Xelerator (abgeleitet von Accelerator = Gaspedal / Beschleuniger) sollte dabei stets Programm sein. Nach dem ersten Remix-Release zu dem Song "Rulez Roccaz - Rave Heaven" im Jahr 2005 veröffentlichte er schließlich im Jahr 2006 seine erste Single als featuring mit The Teaser "Techno Forever". 2007 folgte die nächste Single Endless Dream. Neben zahlreichen Remixen kamen ab 2008 3 Songs in Zusammenarbeit mit Annakiya ("I am alive", "Vergessen" und "Nur einmal im Leben") heraus bis Marlon Weiss für das Projekt eine kreative Pause einlegte und sich anderen Musikrichtungen unter den Nebenprojekten "Maloni White" und "Emotional Affair" widmete.
2013 lebte Xelerator wieder auf. Mit den Einflüssen aus (Hard) Trance, House und Dance hat sich Xelerator alias Marlon Weiss ins Studio gesetzt, um etwas Neues zu schaffen, das sowohl den roughen Sound aus Electro House mit sich bringt als auch den melodischen Ansatz aus Trance und Dance Musik verfolgt. Das Ergebnis ist eine Mixtur aus den Genres, die frisch, innovativ und neu klingt, aber gleichzeitig den Hörer nicht verwirrt. Ein weiterer Einfluss spiegelt sich in den Vocals wider. Hat man bisher diese Form von epischen, mystischen Vocals nur in Hardstyle gehört, zeigt „Into Dawn“, dass tiefe, kraftvolle Speech Vocals auch bestens in andere Genres einbetten lassen. So, wie der Original Mix mehrere Genres vereint, präsentiert sich auch das Remixpaket, das aufgrund der Vielfalt direkt als Doppelrelease auf Metrophonic Resistance und Sonic Flash veröffentlicht wird. Auf Metrophonic Resistance geben sich Skyrosphere mit einem großartigen Hard Trance Remix und Concept Art mit einem phatten Hardstyle Remix die Ehre. Das Sonic Flash Remix Release wird mit den Remixen von den Dual Playaz und Mankee die HandsUp/Dance Fans begeistern. Nicht verpassen solltet ihr außerdem seinen ersten Remix im neuen Stil zur aktuellen Gainworx-Single „Eternity“
