mit den 9 außergewöhnlichen Künstlerinnen:

Semra Sevin, Bettina Sellmann, Sybille Hotz // Artist Berlin Sabine Dehnel, Yvonne Andreini, Alexandra Wolframm, Zsuzsa Klemm, Carola Schmidt und Ulrike Buhl.

„Werden heißt, ausgehend von Formen, die man hat, das Subjekt, das man ist, von Organen, die man besitzt, oder von Funktionen, die man erfüllt, Partikel herauszulösen, zwischen denen man Beziehungen von Bewegung und Ruhe, Schnelligkeit und Langsamkeit herstellt, die dem, was man wird und wodurch man wird, am nächsten sind.“, schreiben Gilles Deleuze und Félix Guattari *

Partikel und Organe im System austauschen, sich neu strukturieren und neu entdecken. „Liquid Translation" symbolisiert hier die flüssige Form des Übergangs, der Beweglichkeit und das Einnehmen von neuen Perspektiven, die wir hier im künstlerischen Kontext und Zusammenklang erforschen. Die Ausstellung ist eine Einladung traditionelle Denkmuster zu verlassen und Möglichkeiten fließender Identitäten und die Loslösung von Strukturen, die möglicherweise zu starren Bildern, Glaubenssätzen, Systemen oder Gewohnheiten geworden sind, neu zu sehen und zu hinterfragen: Inwiefern können wir diese aufbrechen?

Das Zusammenspiel ihrer Werke in dieser Ausstellung ergibt einen besonderen Vibe.
Der Titel “Liquid Translation”, ist spielt auf den Film „Lost in Translation“ an. „Liquid Translation“ jedoch deutet jedoch auf dynamische Übergänge an.
Hier symbolisiert „Liquid“ die flüssige Form, der Beweglichkeit und Perspektiven, die wir künstlerisch und im Austausch erforschen wollen, als Einladung traditionelle Denkmuster zu verlassen und Dich durch die Ausstellung inspirieren zu lassen in ein Meer von neuen Möglichkeiten des Seins und Werdens einzutauchen.

💥💥💥Drawing inspiration…

…from the organic motion of nature and the dynamic rhythm of Berlin, I chose vivid brushstrokes with bold colors like pink, blue, orange, and a touch of violet. The composition plays with the concept of flow and fusion, as if the colors are performing a dance across the canvas. 💥
It was essential for me to allow viewers to see their own narratives and feel the emotions I experienced during the creative process.
Each stroke is deliberate yet spontaneous, a balance of control and surrender.
This piece is a celebration of experimentation and my ongoing passion to push boundaries and reinterpret the language of abstraction.

💥 ARE YOU READY FOR THE MAGIC OF INSPIRATION? 💥

The invitation to Elisabeth Gilbert's lecture in Berlin popped up here, and honestly, at the time, I didn't even know who she was. However, the invitation spoke to me so deeply that I bought a VIP ticket (with a photo and front-row seat).

It was absolutely worth it!
Although I was so exhausted that day, because it had been demanding, I left the lecture completely rejuvenated. 💥🤩💥

Of course, I also bought one of her signed books.
In this one, "BIG MAGIC," she describes how the phase of ideation works in creativity.
She writes that ideas are immaterial beings that can only manifest and embody through us humans: Therefore, ideas swirl around us for all eternity, always seeking willing partners. (...) When an idea believes it has found someone—like you—who could bring it to life, the idea will pay you a visit. (I have the German translation of the book, so unfortunately that’s not the original text, but translated back in English. 😅😎)

But very often, we're too caught up in our fears, dramas, and duties, so we don't perceive this signal, and we can't receive the inspiration of the idea. She describes it beautifully, and when you read the parts I've omitted, it's even better.

(She had found this overall in Kreuzberg before in an upcycling store, with a dragon embroidered on the back, and she was so excited about it that she also did the reading and the photos with it... which I admit was initially disappointing for me: Not only did she shave her blonde hair, but she also put on the overall. 😅)

For those who don't know her: Elizabeth is an outstanding writer whose work has inspired many people. One of her books, "Eat, Pray, Love," which is autobiographical, has been adapted into a movie starring Julia Roberts.

Before the photo, Elizabeth hugged me warmly and asked how I was doing. She exudes such a great warmth of heart!

In line, while waiting for the shoot, I made wonderful acquaintances. The reading began with a meditation, led by the fantastic Laura Malina Seiler, who helped us arrive in the moment.

Elizabeth was not reading, but telling us stories about her life and best friend, who passed away from cancer two years ago.
This friend had struggled with drugs before, but she managed to turn her life around and develop a remarkable ability: to meet people without prejudice and with clear boundaries.

Es ist wirklich schön an dieser Plattform, dass man mit anderen Künstlern netzwerken und sich austauschen kann.
Gestern Kapitel 53:
"Baby Lee ging entschlossen weiter. Abzuwarten war einfach nicht ihre Stärke."

Zu diesem Titel passend habe ich die zwei Papierarbeiten ausgesucht, denn der Titel hat für mich mit Schnelligkeit und möglicherweise auch verschwinden-entschwinden zu tun.

Pig, Pan und Pinocchio.

I felt in love with the movie “PIG” with Nicholas Cage, I saw on Netflix.
It’s about loss, love and suppression of emotions.
I think Pinocchio fits in the context because the story of Pinocchio deals a lot with shame and shaming, wich is also about not living who you really are, but hiding and fitting in.

“Pan” is the painting of a universe, with different faces, the coexistence of different concepts and beings a symbol for freedom and peace.
