Swoop Bed - this came into being in collaboration with an awesome couple.
It's truly a one-off, with some wild and knotty oak planks selected.
The design involved taking photos of the planks, inserting them into the CAD software to edit the shape according to the knots and figure of the wood. The rough milling was done using a large CNC cutter, while joining and finish was done by hand.
The wax-oil finish plays gloriously with the sunlight in their top-floor bedroom, accentuating the organically shaped piece.

A lot of work went into creating this logo from Plum & Rosewood.
It was quite a learning experience, involving several attempts of cutting on the CNC and fitting by hand.
Totally worth it tho, from now on pieces will have this inlaid monogram measuring just 14 mm!
