Just wanted to give a heartfelt thank you again to Luca from and everyone who came last night for our fabulous winemakers dinner 🙏🍷🍝.
The pairings were amazing, hats off to the talented chefs at for the hard work and great ex*****on. The wines were a triumph, and we are so glad to hear that they were so well received 👏❤️. We look forward to hosting many more events like this: both with Diotisalvi again, and with our other talented producers who are eager to show you what they can do!

The sunny weather has the city feeling alive again!!! ☀️☀️☀️and we are well prepared with some absolutely stunning deliveries of wine: the first of which is this outright naughty selection from 🔥👌
Their Nostrale white wine has been keeping the tastebuds of Copenhagen happy for a while now, and it’s no different with this vintage. BEAUTIFUL.
If macerated is more your jam then their All’Ombra Del Pini, based 100% on Catarratto grapes will quench your thirst. AND we brought back a house fave: Catartico ‘20. Wanna know why it’s a fave? Then try it babbaaay!
Last, but not least. Their Pino Noir of the same All’Ombra name. You can imagine what a climate like Sicily can do for the red fruits in a Pinot Noir, and Longarico are experts in bringing it out.

A beautiful expression of pure Sangiovese in Filippo Manetti’s ‘Oudeis’. We couldn’t help snap up several vintages of it!
Sangiovese from a single vineyard, with a long laceration on skins, followed by 3 years elevage in neutral oak, plus even more years in the bottle.
Expect a hit of ripe, red fruits like cherry and strawberry, underpinned by earthy spices and a satisfying little touch of oak.

Our stock of ‘s Barolos have been flying off the webshop, and understandably so. There are only a few of her collection left, so don’t miss out.
The ‘La Foia’ range is produced according to the traditional method: with a long maceration and a long ageing in large, used wooden barrels.
The ‘Arborina’ is produced according to the modern method, which Nadia learned from her uncle Elio Altare (a big name in Barolo production), with a shorter maceration and small cask storage.
Get it before it’s gone. You’ll see why people are thirsty for them.

Founded in 1998 by the Greek Evangelos Paraschos, winemaker from 1979, and his family, collaborate together in producing natural wines, following the old traditional wine-making methods of the Collio and Vipava region.
Only the healthy grapes are selected and hand harvested in small cases, gradually, when they reach the right ripeness; then they are destalked and crushed lightly before being put into large open-topped vats. This procedure allows to extract the antioxidants from the grape skins.
The resulting wines are deliciously complex, elegant and with a satisfying weight and texture. Try the selection on the webshop, and B2B customers can write to [email protected] to get these by the case!

🍷🥇Brine D’Aprile 2020 🍷🥇

Fun fact - this ‘April Frost’ wine was first made in 2017 when a frost devastated the original Malbo Gentile grapes this wine is made from. The only grapes that could then be harvested were less ripe second growths.

This resulted in a wine with aromatic notes of oregano, which the Masini brothers found themselves really enjoying. They also realised that picking the grapes slightly earlier results in this flavour, even under fairer weather conditions.

From now on, the grapes are picked intentionally early to showcase the full aromatic potential of the grape. Leading us to this fabulous vintage.

Sent to us by the talented , these wines are a fabulous young & playful version of the Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetta grapes that the Curto winery usually work with.
Picture the depth of the Nebbiolo, balanced with the smooth, vivacious expression of the Dolcetta in La Vanitosa.
As for L’Informale, this wine is a great blend of the wonderful Barbera grape and the dark, beautiful Nebbiolo. Full of flavour, and yet still just as approachable as the name suggests.

Our friends Daniele Manoni, Marco Fucini, and Nicola Brenciaglia founded Il Vinco in 2014 to preserve the native Canaiolo Nero vines around Lago di Bolsena, Lazio. Their reds are intense and herbal and derive their complexity from the region's rich volcanic soils. They also make one of our favourites, Solounanotte, a short maceration of Canaiolo, which sits between a dark rosé and a light red. Perfect summer drinking🍇💚

On Sunday, March 5th and Monday, March 6th, we are hosting the Vignaioli Artigiani Naturali VAN to Copenhagen wine tasting here at Il Buco. We will transform the restaurant into a wine fair, where several fantastic wine producers will present their authentic, living wines from all over Italy.

Meet the producers and try more than 200 beautiful wines. Admission is 89 kr.

Denis Montanar - Villa Vicentina, Friuli

Denis Montanar’s vines are nestled in the hills between the Slovenian mountains to the north and the beautiful Adriatic sea to the south. The Montanar family have been tending land near the small town of Villa Vicentina, in Friuli, since 1904 - cultivating grapes, soy and corn. Denis began to make wine in 1989, and in 1996 he decided to convert all ten and a half hectares of his vines to organic practices. Today, his son Carlo leads the farm. Their wines carry the ”Triple A” label, which stands for Agricoltori, Artigiani, Artisti (farmers, artisans, artists). Put simply; it shows a commitment to producing low-intervention wines without use of chemicals and with great respect for nature.

Our friends Luigi Stalteri & Alessandro Viola established Longarico in 2015 in Alcamo, Sicily. It’s a very small project consisting of roughly two hectares of vineyards near the nature reserve, Bosco d'Alcamo. The vines are located on steep slopes between 350 and 700 meters, overlooking the river Freddo. They work with traditional varietals, such as Catarratto, Nerello mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, as well as Syrah and a little bit of Pinot Nero.

Evangelos Paraschos, originally from Greece, moved to Friuli in the early 1980s and felt inspired by the winemakers he discovered in the region, such as Radikon & Gravner. He began making his wines in the 1990s, and today his two sons, Jannis and Alexis, run the estate.

They craft some of our favourite macerated wines from the traditional varieties of the region, as well as some truly elegant reds made from Pinot Noir or Merlot. The Collio region is known for its ponca soils – composed of marl and sandstone, containing marine fossils from what is now the Adriatic Sea. Since 2003 all the vineyards have been farmed organically, and today the estate consists of 7 hectares.

Our dear friends Gabriele & Stefano from Cantina Morra Gabriele are preparing for the beginning of the new season in Piemonte and have sent us some highlights from last year.

Together, they craft some of our favourite Nebbioli, which are always elegant and pure. Their top wine hails from the Ovello & Montestefano crus in Barbaresco and offers a deep, spicy and complex interpretation of the region.
