I’m driving down to southern France next week and I couldn’t be more excited to spend the next month on the road! 🇫🇷

For those of you following TheTravelBook, it might seem like my life is a constant vacation, but 2024 has already been a busy year so far with incredible projects and collaborations 🌍✨

Now, it’s time for a true holiday and quality time with Karo before a new part of our life begins🤰🏼

There’s something magical about driving through scenic landscapes, meeting local producers, and bringing home the freshest ingredients 🐟🍇🥕Taking these treasures to a cozy holiday home and transforming them into delicious meals is my kind of adventure 💚

Travel tips to Skagen and northern Jutland? 🇩🇰😍

I’ll spend the coming week here in northern Jutland where I’ll visit some of the local producers, fishermen and farmers 🍓going for long walks in the stunning nature 🦮🌿 and eat at some of the incredible restaurants… but please help me if there are some great spots I simply need to visit? 💚🫶🏼

Today I enjoyed a delightful lunch at the newly opened at Frederiksborg Slot.

Most of the ingredients come straight from their own farm , and they try only to use local products for the rest 🥕🥬

The farm-to-table experience combined with the historic ambiance made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a taste of authenticity and history! 🇩🇰

Nine years together, and every day with you feels like a beautiful dream come true 🙏🏼 I can’t thank you enough for being my rock, my light, and my everything and especially for supporting me and accepting my job as a travel blogger 🌍 I know it hasn’t been 9 easy years, but I know that our 10th year together will be the most memorable one 😉Here’s to us, my love, and to the countless more adventures we’ll share. 500 KG CHEESE!!! 🧀

I’ve traveled quite a bit around Norway, and when I tasted a cheese at a the lovely a couple of years ago, I simply had to visit the local producer! 🇳🇴

It turned out that the cheese, Kraftkar, from the small family-owned dairy had won the award for world’s best cheese (Champion of Champions) in 2016! 🥇🏆

I joked about how much cheese I would have to buy to bring it to Denmark, and that’s how my cheese adventure as a cheese importer started 😁👐🏼

In the past year, I’ve managed to sell 500kg of this particular cheese to a few selected fine dining restaurants and cheese retailers around Denmark 🇩🇰🤌🏼

I must admit I’m a bit proud... It’s a fantastic feeling to be able to support a lovely family in Norway in spreading their amazing craftsmanship among the gastronomic stronghold here in Denmark 🥹

This was the first destination I plugged into my GPS when I arrived in UK yesterday 🇬🇧 I am well aware this ain’t a hidden gem, but I’ve always been fascinated about the myth of historical place that most likely is 5.000 years old! 😮

What is the first destination you would visit if arriving in UK? 😍

Oh, what a ride it’s been! ⚡️ My electric car adventure has kicked off with a bang, and let me tell you, the thrill of the road never gets old! Cruising thousands of kilometers, I found myself in the charming city of Gent by pure chance. And you know what? That’s the magic of road tripping – you never quite know where the journey will take you! 🌟 From spontaneous pit stops to unexpected discoveries, every twist and turn is a new adventure waiting to unfold. So here’s to embracing the spontaneity, soaking in the sights, and letting the road guide us to places we never knew we needed to see. Who knows where I’ll end up next… Let’s keep the good vibes rolling and the adventures coming! 🌈✨
