“I feel alive!”
One of the young adults I´ve been teaching how to ski said this, right after he had his first run on a green slope. Simple to some, but a mile stone for others. It was such a heart touching moment. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what my passion is - what drives me. It is moments like that!
I, myself, feel deeply alive so much of the time - let it be sailing, dancing, listening loudly to music, drawing, in deep conversations, skiing, walking down the street...
Witnessing others feel it to is so damn amazing! After all, this is the life we have and we should feel alive!!
Finding wholesome pure joy can seem difficult and overwhelming, but it can also be so simple. Especially when it is under the open sky.
Mmmmh, movement, music, moments.
Last week I was in Tavira, Portugal, where I joined for a teacher training in ‘Shake the Dust’. From it I have gained so much and I am looking forward to hold space for others in this practice - soon.
For a while I felt stuck in my ‘yoga’ practice, but this helped me refind my love for movement, my love for gooooood music, my love for exploring and the symbiosis of it all.
Thank you to all the lovely women I met, for being you, for being allllll of you. For laughter, tears, joy, excitement, holding space and being space. For all the squats, jumping, dancing, burning, shaking, spilling out and sharing.
Thank you Satu for creating a practice that lets me move, breath, release, receive, explore, go deep and just be.

I find myself wearing a lot of blue these days.. 🔷
Maybe it is my throat chakra telling me to speak up more, or myself trying to provoke something.
Maybe it is a way to connect with my own intuition, imagination, inspiration and integrity.
Maybe it is because I miss my boathome where the sea and sky is my forever view.
Or maybe.. it does not need to mean anything at all? Mostly, I just want it to be something else than black.
Because life should be lived in color.

Why??
Why would you put yourself in cold water? 🥶
Do you know why?
Today, I did it to wake myself up after a morning of oversleeping because of a late night with to much screen watching. I won’t lie - as I am writing this I still feel cold..
But it also resets my circadian rhytm, gives me a natural high, boosts my immune system, calm my nervous system (after) and hopefully it will help on my blood circulation so my fingers and toes won’t be so afraid of the cold. This is at least what the studies show🤞
If you ever put yourself through this - how does it make you feeeeel?
I feel COLD at first and ask myself, why do I do this?! But the feeling, the reset, the boost of energy - I feel that too.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t do this often (enough), but many other people inspire me to do so - including my mom and good friends 🙏
