You’ve been there .. your old sweaters are just lying in your closet, and you don’t really use them anymore, right?! Well, that’s no way to treat your pretty sweaters … just leaving them there 🥹😮💗

BUT, outdated sweaters (or slipovers) are a thing of the past! 😍 We made a video showcasing 3 fun ways to upcycle your old sweaters and slipovers:

1. Beads
2. Adding new details/stripes/wow-effects with contrasting colors or details with glitter yarn
3. Embroidery with Duplicate Stitching

3 very simple methods that are easy to do at home AND don’t require you to buy tons of new products - one way is to just use some of your scrap yarn! That’s a win-win situation, right?! 🥰🙌🧶✨

Which of the 3 ways do you think is more fun? And do you have any other fun techniques that you use to upcycle your clothes? We really want to hear about them in the comments👇🙏🤗

Do you love sweaters with interesting designs as much as we do?! 😍🙏 Then let’s talk about stripes. Stripes are a super simple design choice, and they can really spice up the look of your sweater!! Aaaaaand, since it’s ""Knit a sweater month"", we thought that it would be fitting to give you a little sweater tip - a stripe tip ✨🦓💗 Depending on what kind of look you’re going for, a jogless color change in the knit stripes can look incredible 🙌🤩 Therefore, we’ve tried to explain and show you how to make those jogless stripes... 👇👆📏 How do you feel about stripes? Do you prefer the color change to be visible or invisible, or does it depend on the project? Please tell us your thoughts in the comments 😍✨ How to: 1. At the start of your round, switch to your next color by adding the new yarn. 2. Knit a round using the new color. 3. When you’ve knit all stitches and find yourself back at the first stitch of the round, lift the right leg of the stitch from the previous round onto your left needle. This is done by working your needle into the right leg of the stitch purlwise and then lifting the stitch onto the left needle. 4. Now, knit these two stitches together. 5. Continue knitting following your pattern - and notice what a beautiful and “invisible” color change you’ve made 💥✨

How to Knit - Magic Loop
In this video we show how you can knit the magic loop technique which enables you to knit a smaller tubular piece using a circular needle instead of double pointed needles. HOW TO DO THE MAGIC LOOP 🔮 1. Cast on the required number of stitches. 2. Move the stitches to the center off the cable and divide them equally (make sure they don't twist) 3. Slide one half of the cast-on stitches onto the back needle. 4. Knit along all the stitches on your left-hand needle. 5. Turn your needles so the unworked stitches are now in your left hand. 6. Slide the unworked stitches onto the left-hand needle 7. Pull the right hand needle long (the one you just worked) so the just-worked stitches are resting on the cable. Continue step 5-7.
