Krogh Andersen Studio
Krogh Andersen is an artist duo consisting of Kristina Krogh (b. 1986) and Christian Andersen (b. 1983), collaborating closely since 2012.
Their works are built around a certain dynamic with a graphical language and are characterized by subtle curves and deep reflections of light and shadow. These minimalistic works leave only shape and shadow visible in an effort to draw the viewer closer and create a quiet and intimate conversation. Their goal is to make works that are an invitation to observe the world through shape and surface. They both live and work just outside Copenhagen in Denmark.

ABOUT THE PAPER SCULPTURES
These minimalistic white paper sculptures leave only shapes and shadows visible in an effort to draw the viewer closer and create a quiet and intimate conversation. The paper sculptures are made by Krogh Andersen from sheets of thick natural white textured paper.
They can be ordered with professionally made frames in solid oak. It is also possible to order the pieces without frame (worldwide delivery).

ABOUT THE WORK
This three dimensional paper artwork is made from natural white textured paper from Arches*. Each artwork is handmade and unique.
*Arches uses no optical brighteners so its natural white colour will not yellow with age and archival value is ensured. The heavy mould-made cotton paper features a distinct textured surface in both look and feel.

ABOUT THE WORKS
Blind embossings by Kristina Krogh on Arches paper with deckled edges | 2022
The blind emboss technique is made to create these reliefs, which are hand embossed by Kristina Krogh on thick white textured cotton paper.
The artworks reveals themselves in a tone-on-tone raised reliefs, illuminated by the interplay of light and shadow. The clean, minimal impression appeals to both the visual and tactile senses.
Blind embossing stretches the paper and brings the paper to life. Due to the movement of the paper, each art print will have its own unique expression.
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
The art prints are made in a limited edition of 150, signed and numbered by Kristina Krogh. Once the artworks are sold out in the edition, they are gone for good.
