TECHNICAL ARTIST FOR 2D-SERIES, RIGGED ANIMATION IN TOON BOOM

We are looking for a technical artist for our upcoming series that is produced in Toonboom, rigged 2D-animation. You will be working closely with the line producer setting up scenes and assets in Toonboom Producer, assembling scenes and preparing them for the animators to start working on, making simple rigs for props and set pieces, making them available in the scenes that need them.

You'll also be responsible for the Toonboom Harmony Server setup, making sure that it runs properly. It will be set up by the line producer with support from Toonboom, so it'll be up and running when you begin. You'll keep an eye on it, dig into log files to see what the problem might be and communicate with the Toonboom support to solve issues that might need their assistance. You'll also be the inhouse Toonboom tech support for all remote artists, and in-house.

We believe you are a technically interested animator/generalist, that might have recently graduated from a CG artist program and have some experience of Toonboom. If you have experience as a TD from your graduation films or own shorter projects, and has an interest in Toonboom, you can learn what you need in Toonboom. We are a team that has different experiences, so we will support each other and make sure your learning curve matches the project needs.

Key tasks:
· Setup scenes and assets in Toonboom Producer
· Assemble scenes with the help of Toonboom Producer, then using Toon Boom Harmony Premium, structure each scene for the start of animation. Includes making sure all proper assets and animatics are inside the scene. A technical layout.
· Simple 2D-rigs for props and set pieces that might need to be animated in one way or another.
· Keep track of the Harmony Server setup and be the person to reach out to and help Toonboom support solve the problems with the setup and the remote artists in the project.

You need to work inside the studio, since you'll be hands-on on the systems, and some of the work will demand handling large files that are cumbersome to do remotely. Further into production, some remote working days will be possible. This means you will be stationed at Arsenalet in Viborg, and you MUST be a spend for Vestdansk Filmpulje, meaning there are requirements to where you have your "bopæl". This family film was unfortunately hit by the covid-lock down back on release, so it never hit the Danish cinemas so we are so thrilled that it is finally available here in Denmark.

Traditionen med fredagshyggen består, men fremover vil det ikke kun være amerikanske tegnefilm, der løber over skærmen, men også helt nye danske og nordiske animationsserier.
