This oil holds a special place in my heart, because dOTERRA sources it from the Dominican Republic, the place I have come to call home. This stuff. This is magic in a tube. I have, in my possession THREE tubes because I don't want to be caught with out one. It is soothing, while being both warm and cooling where ever applied.

Hey, friend. Come close. I feel like we need to have a talk about . Did you know the word "lavender" means, "to wash" in latin? Thus, it is a great oil to use on cuts, wounds, and blisters (and BURNS). It is the oil of expression, and calms feelings of insecurity. Also being the oil of relaxation, we use it on little footsies before bed. Once, while outside with out shoes, I accidentally stepped on dying bee. That little bu**er still managed to sting the bottom of my foot, even in his last moments of life. I hobbled to the house, and grabbed my little bottle of lavender and let a few drops hit the sore spot. It was instant relief.

We have used the shampoo and conditioner for a while in our home, and LOVE them.They leave hair so soft and smell like sunshine in a bottle. I was SO HAPPY when the line was announced, adding a shower gel (bergamot, grapefruit and cedar wood oils are DELICIOUS together with gentile vegetable fatty acid derived cleansers), a moisturizing bath bar (grapefruit, bergamot and jojoba seed), I was OVER THE MOON. Meet Bunnicula and Carrots. My kids are creative with names 😊. They are cuddly little p**p machines. We are new to having . I had no idea how much trouble they can get into. NATURAL FRUIT and VEGGIE WASH!! Today was produce wash day after a trip to the market. I fill my sink with clean (no tap water here, we have to use bottled), put about a half cup of vinegar and a few drops of my BELOVED ESSENTIAL and let them soak for a while. I may come back and stir them while dancing to, "Can't Stop the Feeling" but I let this happy solution do the work of breaking down wax and yucks I don't feel like adding to my diet. My toddler always sneaks a strawberry as they set out to dry.

I'm not going to lie. I miss autumn. A lot. I still make pumpkin what ever thing I can find on Pinterest, and I am pretty sure I am the only soul on the island who wears boots. Super. cute. cowgirl boots. I even ordered colored leaves from Amazon to try and fill the void. We have lived for the past year overseas (away from the U.S.) on an island. That equates to A LOT more sun than what our skin was used to having. We would often come home from a weekend beach trip (despite best efforts) a little more crispy than we would have liked.
