YAROA. I call it the Dominican poutine. Instead of gravy, they use ketchup. So you can have either beef yaroa, chicken yaroa or mixed.
These go for 300 -350 pesos depending on where you buy them from.

Street vendors are amazing hard-working people in DR. One of the many things they sell are sugarcane 😋 I personally love them, and you can get a full sugarcane stick cut and stripped of their bark for only 50 pesos which is less than 1.50 CAD and not even 1US!!!
FUN FACT: THEY CONTAIN LOADS OF ANTIOXIDANTS THAT HELP MAINTAIN A HELTHY IMMUNE SYSTEM. THEY ALSO HELO FIGHT FREE RADICALS.
