Happy Canada Day!!!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having an amazing weekend!! So, we met with the architect yesterday and OMGGGGG it’s all so overwhelming! 3 hours and a lot of changes later, I think it will be an amazing vacation place!! Meeting with her again next Saturday for another sit down! This may take a few weeks! Please Stay tuned!!

One of many different things you can do here in our beautiful Bayahibe! Our friends Jajinka Slezakova and Michael are absolutely amazing people! Fun and down to earth! Sailing with them was soooo much fun and Saona Island is a definite must visit! Experience everything sailing has to offer with Day trips or overnight trips (especially if you want to experience what it would be like to live on a sailboat)

Electricity poles going in and should be at our property in the next couple days!! Woo hoo!!

Fun Fact:

Each apartment will be equipped with a blender so you can make your own fresh juice every day, if you want to, so you can save your money for shopping, excursions, etc! For example - one pineapple will make approximately 8 glasses of fresh pineapple juice, 1 pineapple is 80 pesos or less than $2 CAD which is less than 0.25 per glass compared to $3 at a regular restaurant! Best part is, you can mix it up (and no sugar necessary) pineapple/mango is really good and Chinola/mango, pineapple/chinola etc! Watermelon juice is amazing too! Cut and prepare these fruits and freeze them for a cold drink! (Except the chinola because you don’t need to, as you can use one at a time!!) El Patron is where I buy my fruits!

These are 6 of the different scuba diving/snorkelling shops in Bayahibe! Pic #2 & #3 are the same shop! Lots to choose from depending on your needs, all of them speak English, but if you only speak French, Czech, German, Belgian, etc there’s a scuba shop for you! If you prefer private or not, you have options!! I can absolutely help you choose the right one for you! ❤️❤️❤️

Tip of the Day:

Doesn’t matter what time of year you come to vacation here, if you are walking around between 11am to 3ish pm always make sure you wear a hat, and carry water with you! I just came back from a walk and I was dripping sweat but for some reason it doesn’t show in the pic! 😩 The second pic is a cross body water bottle cooler/holder and it holds a 1L water bottle! Thank uuuuuuu 31 Gifts and Chantal Seguin, now I can walk around hands free!

Here are some of the restaurants that were not in the live video! There are also some on the beach I pointed out and there’s more at the other beach! So, as you can see there are plenty of options and I have yet to come across one that I didn’t like! Yummmmm!

UPDATE: I have come up with a name for our Apartments, it’s in my lawyers hands and if the name is not taken it will be registered and will officially be ours! Contest is still open for another week…as I need a second option in case we cannot use this name!!!

The name will be

“Apartamentos Paraiso Larimar”

Larimar is a precious stone (aqua blue in colour) and is only found in the Dominican Republic!
