We follow Sina from Iran, Héctor from Colombia and Kaiadas from Greece on their journey to Norway - the Mecca of the music that has formed their lives.

About the unexpected news of Slayer reunion.

Deicide decided to use AI generated art work on their upcoming album "Banished by Sin" cover (out on 26th April 2024).
Metal community´s visual artists are not very happy about it.

Some of you might already have seen the new cover artwork for the upcoming Deicide album. Besides being not very creative it is AI generated trash. Of course this isn't the first lazy band to use AI generated images commercially, but in 2024 every art (which includes music) respecting band should know better.

As mentioned plenty of times, every band, even without budget, can use public domain images, draw themselves, take photographs, do a collage, the possibilities of being creative are endless. But using AI is not creative and exploiting art itself.

In short, if you love art you say no to the commercial use of AI generated images, and I encourage everyone to boycott bands that do use AI.

Also, I'm not looking for a discussion with people who disagree just because, and/or relativize the use of AI images. You can do that on your profile.
