EGID's contribution in Yerevan, 2023: Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges hosted the international capital markets conference ConFEAS 2023, in Armenia, on June 15, 2023.

At its third edition, FEAS annual flagship event, ConFEAS, returned with a brand new format. The conference featured over 40 speakers and covered four main areas of capital markets, as well as offered a unique cultural networking session, and much more.

ConFEAS 2023 brought together around 200 participants from Exchanges, CSDs, Banks, Regulatory Bodies, Investment Companies, and IFIs under one roof to discuss the latest trends, issues, and opportunities in modern capital markets.

· In June 1999, EGID was established as a fully owned subsidiary of the Egyptian Exchange EGX, starting with four employees.

· In 2002, we started exclusively transmitting the Egyptian Exchange market data locally and internationally.

· In 2003, built the first and main electronic database of fundamental data.

· In 2004, developed various market solutions for Stock Exchanges.

· In 2007, built its fully hosted solution for member firms or brokers in addition to a wide range of stand-alone solutions for member firms.

· In 2007, we also became a JV owned by EGX and NASDAQ75 where the staff are mostly technical.

· In 2009, EGID changed its legal form to become a joint venture between EGX and NASDAQ.

· In 2010, we signed an agreement with ISC (International Securities Consultancy) to provide The Kuwait Stock Exchange with consultancy services to undertake the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of their new Trading and Surveillance systems provided by NASDAQ and SMARTS. EGID was involved in the Acceptance, Testing, Training and Certification of these systems.

· In 2014, we became CMMI level II certified.

· In 2014, we established ourselves as a new JV owned by EGX and specialized in hosting and co-location services.

· In 2017, we were ISO 9000 and ISO 27001 certified.

· In 2017, we were PCI certified.
