𝐄 Designates an electrode.
𝐗𝐗 Designates the tensile strength (minimum), in ksi.
𝐘𝐘 Designates the welding position, type of covering and kind of welding current.
–𝟏 Designates that meet impact test requirements.
𝐇𝐙 For low hydrogen electrodes, diffusible hydrogen test with an average value not exceeding “Z” mL of H2 per 100 g of deposited
metal, where “Z” is 4, 8, or 16).
