We are delighted to announce the successful implementation of our new project with the Moamena Kamel Foundation - مؤسسة مؤمنة كامل. The project aimed to provide the women in Alsaida Aisha community with the necessary skills and resources to create a sustainable livelihood.
The project involved the establishment of a new workshop in the area with trainings that provided a comprehensive understanding of tailoring and business management. We believe that this project has improved the lives of many women in Alsaida Aisha, helping them to become self-sufficient and financially independent.
We are grateful for the support of Momena Kamel Foundation in creating this opportunity for the women of Alsaida Aisha. The project was a great success, and we are proud to have been a part of it.

Yesterday marked a major milestone for Buttonup as we celebrated the opening of Tamkeny community center in Ras Gahreb city.
The energy was electric! We are thrilled to have a dedicated space where community members can come together to learn, grow and connect.
We’re so grateful for the support of Kuwait Energy Egypt and can’t wait to see all the amazing things that will come out of this space.

Taproot is a unique collection of eco-friendly, handmade items inspired by Egyptian Nubian colors and patterns. The products were created through the trainings of Taproot project, supported by Emirates NBD بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني in an effort to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The Taproot collection is a great example of how sustainability can be integrated into everyday life and how local communities can be part of climate solutions. The products are stylish and practical, reminding us to be mindful of our environment.

In a few days, Buttonup team will land in Sharm el sheikh and be in the Green Zone area of COP27. We are excited to present our approach and the community solutions we are introducing to climate change through the Taproot project with Emirates NBD بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني
From Glasgow to Sharm El-shiekh, we are carrying on our message of promoting the role of youth and women in local communities in contributing to climate change solutions.

Three years ago, Buttonup’s journey began to empower women and youth in local communities.
During that period, we expanded significantly and worked in several governorates, namely Cairo, Giza, the Red Sea, Sohag, and Aswan.
This success would not have been possible without the support of our partners, who believed in our vision and worked closely with us to implement the model we applied in Izzbet Khairallah in other geographical areas.

We are pleased to announce the signing of an MoU with Kuwait Energy Egypt
With this partnership, we are kicking off Tamkeny project with a first phase that includes establishing a workshop in Ras Gahreb, and training 50 women to master textile production and entrepreneurship.
We want to share with you the enthusiasm of our team to start the new project. We are confident that this agreement is a first step towards strengthening the future prospects of Ras Ghareb youth and women's economic empowerment through creative handicrafts.
Buttonup and Emirates NBD بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني are launching ‘Taproot’ to support local solutions to climate change.
Ahead of COP 27, Taproot is the latest output of the strategic partnership between BU and Emirates NBD. The project will support local communities to advance environmentally friendly industries by training 180 youth and women from Izzbet Khairallah on textile, pottery, tire recycling, and plant-based cooking.

A year ago, our partnership with Emirates NBD بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني began. Through Sewing the Seeds project, we succeeded in supporting 100 women from Izzbet Khairallah with the skills required to enter the labor market.
We are currently working closely with Emirates NBD to launch a new phase to economically empower youth and women in Izzbet Khairallah through eco-friendly industries. 🔜🔜

New phase to begin with another group of women starting next December.
Harassment and lack of a safe environment in cities are among the most important challenges that hinder girls from working and achieving economic empowerment. The collaboration between ButtonUp and Plan International in "Safer Cities for Girls” project will include carrying out a series of trainings on the subject in Ezzbet Khairallah in partnership with Ezzba 2025.
جانب من ورشة التدريب الاخيرةلمشروع مدن أمنة للفتيات بعزبة خيرالله، على أن تستكمل التدريبات مع مجموعة جديدة من السيدات بدء من شهر ديسمبر.
يعتبر التحرش وعدم توفير بيئة أمنة في المدن من أهم التحديات التي تعوق الفتيات عن العمل و تحقيق التمكين الاقتصادي. ومن هنا بدء التعاون بين Buttonup ومشروع مدن امنة للفتيات الذي تنفذه منظمة plan international لتنفيذ سلسلة من التدريبات فى عزبة خيرالله حول هذا الموضوع بالشراكة مع مشروع العزبة ٢٠٢٥.
Since the very first day we were keen to go places beyond expectations, hereby we are proud to share with you that ButtonUp's products were displayed at the marketplace of ''Active Citizens Ten Years Anniversary'' in London, UK.
During the event, The representatives of El-Ezzba 2025 project presented the contribution of ButtonUp at Ezzbet khierallah and our way of empowering ladies there, through establishing different production lines which are currently ongoing.

الوصول لَم يكُن سهلًا، بعد جهودٍ مُكثّفة على مدار اربعة أعوام تكللت جهود مشروع 'العزبة ٢٠٢٥' بالنجاح وتم اختيار المشروع لتمثيل منطقة الشرق الأوسط و شمال أفريقيا في الاجتماع الدولي لبرنامج مواطنون فاعلون بمقر المجلس الثقافي البريطاني بلندن بعد اختياره افضل مشروع في المنطقة، ذلِك الحدث الذي أضفى بريقًا مُشرفًا وأكسبنا إنجازًا لَم يسبِق لهُ مثيل.
على غِرار ذلِك، يتوجُّه إلى لندَن ممثلين عن المشروع لأجل توثيق الحدَث واستلام التكريم،
سيكون ذلك بسبرينج جاردنز المكان الأمثَل لإشهار النجاح بأبهى حُلّة، ودعم مشروعنا التنموي.
ويتوجه فريق المشروع بالشكر لمؤسسة ثينك تانك للحلول التنموية Think Tank - Development Solutions والمجلس الثقافيي البريطاني British Council Egypt على دعمهم المتواصل للمشروع طوال السنوات الماضية.
