مع التطوير المعتاد لصناعه السيارات الوطنيه عبر قنوات عديده, جاءت الشراكه بين مجموعه فوجيان موتور للصناعه المحدوده و مؤسسه مجموعه تيوان موتور الصين لتولد شركه ساوايست (فوجيان) موتور المحدوده 1995 و التى تعد من اكبر شركات صناعه السيارات و تم تاسيس شركه سيارات ساوايست فى 26 سبتمبر 1999.
فى ابريل 2006 قامت شركه ميتسوبيشى موتورز المحدوده بالدخول بشراكه بنسبه 25% فى شركه سيارات ساوايست لترتفع الى المستوى العالمى لمؤسسات صناعه السيارات.
