Implant Dril guide for congenitally missed lateral incisors
Challenging case with very limited mesio-desital space for implant placement Congenitally Missed teeth #12 & # 22 planned to be restored with JD implant width 2.7mm (apical 2.0 mm) X 11.5 mm as the available mesio-distal space is very limited ( less than the recommended space for implant placement), we chose the length of 11.5 mm , as the implant taper will help us to avoid the bone undercut & narrowing available, Implant Surgical Guide was designed with full drilling guidance & depth control , implants was inserted manually after drill guide removal , without guide guidance Implant in tooth # 12 area was inserted 15 mm , not 11.5 mm as was planned (due to bad initial stability of the 11.5 mm ) , you can see that this implant is near to the neighboring tooth , as the implant thickness increased in the area of the constriction. Note: the mesio-distal space in this case was less than the required for implant placement & insertion of the implants in these space could violate the neighboring teeth , but it was the patient's demand Surgery was done by Prof Dr Ashraf Samir Refai Surgical Guide Planning by:Dr. Amr Tuhami Software used : DDS Pro Software 3D Printer: Planmeca Creo
