New Hope Children’s Project is a Non Profit where 100% of donations go to feeding, clothing, housing, educating and bringing hope to orphaned or abandoned children in Uganda.
Working with the our trusted friend Michael Bogere a local Christian pastor we have just purchased a wonderful piece of land where we wish to build a home and school for 35 children to give them a hope and a future.
The purpose of this page is to share the developments alongside raising the necessary funds to complete project and then enable people to sponsor a child monthly or quarterly to provide for their care and education.
We are looking to raise €70000 for the building project. This will enable us to provide accommodation and schooling facilities for 35 children and staff accommodation for 2 carers.
The level of poverty in this region is unbelievable, you have to see it to really understand the needs alongside the lack of help for these children.
Three of us visited Uganda earlier this year with the view of “helping” a little and left knowing we at least had to try and help just a few. We know it won’t make a huge difference to the situation there but it will change the lives of these 35 children…. And who knows how many others in the future.
