This is the wonderful flower of the… Gospa DRAGON FRUIT♥️
I would like to tell you something. It is a very delicate flower and lives only a few hours in the early morning, at dawn. As the morning progresses, it dies if we have not pollinated it with pollen from another Dragon Fruit variety. This is not an easy crop, but we are in love with Gospa!

What a great surprise! José’s hand could not hold this large grapefruit, here called the ‘Chinese pomelo’ (scientific name Citrus Maxima). With these grapefruits we explain in the Gospa orchard one of the three original citrus fruits from which all other citrus fruits originate today, up to 2,600 different varieties today. It all started millions of years ago!

Our last boxes of Citrus Fruits and some Exotic Fruits.

Little by little the citrus fruit reaches the end of the season. Although there are still Valencia Late Oranges left, we have said goodbye to our last Nadorcott and Orri Mandarins, Sanguinelli and Navel Powell oranges. We are also finishing for the moment with our wonderful Passion Fruit. In the box are also some Verna Lemons. One box, one treasure.

Dragon fruit flowers when the length of the day (photoperiod) is longer than the length of the night, in our conditions from May to October. During this period, several waves or streams of flowers can be observed, which also seem to synchronise with the lunar phases.
