Malapascua Sidemount - Tec Diving - Pro course by Devocean Divers

Our IN-HOUSE CD, cd_wschmit81 was doing a dive in monad the last weekend, leaving early is important to find sharks at the cleaning stations.
Diving in Sidemount configuration allows us to be safe during the dive bringing a extra tank in case of emergency for this deep dives.
More than 15 sharks they have spotted during the dive drifting in monad shoals.

New Divemasters skill circuit By Course Director Walter Schmit Premier of devocean divers -Divemasters and IDC skills

Last week our course director cd_wschmit81 had the pleasure of teaching the specialty to Finn Snow.

The idea of teaching is to have fun and for everyone to learn something from one another. The best is also when the student is ready to learn and enthusiastic taking part in a course like this.

The PADI Course is the kind of course for pro-divers who are looking into safety procedures, solutioning problems and enjoying a dive when they are alone.

During this course Finn has learnt about:
•the buddy system application on a solo dive
•backups equipment
•planning and executing dives
•gas calculation
•resolution of possible problems underwater

For two dives Finn and Walter were practicing DSMB deployment ascent with the line while drifting and stopping for a simulated as part of a possible problem.

At the end of this course, Finn’s last dive was a solo dive with his camera at monad with plenty of sharks at 29meters for 59’ before coming back to the boat.

Good news for the diving world 🌎🌍 , the new dive medical form has been released. For all dive pro's out there, you can now start using it when teaching courses (also if you are using in your dive center one for fun dives as well).
Last time that PADI update the form was 2014 version.Check the picture to compare the both version.
And keep updated!

If you are unclear with this version then the traditional version is also still valid and can be use during your courses or activities.

It does clear up quite a few questions and is more streamlined now than before and make more sense.

Same time our staff is working in the cleaning and repair of the dive shop while we are waiting to dive activities to re-start.
