Membership is the minimum requirement expected from all:
Membership types for Individuals and Institutions:
• Regular membership (for medical laboratory professionals),
• Associate membership (for not-laboratory health & other professionals supporting the profession),
• Honorary membership (for individuals who made outstanding contributions to the community) and
• Lifetime membership.
Note: Anyone who is interested can be a member of the association in one of the membership categories.
For Membership Registration:
• Submit membership request by filling the membership form through our website of https://emlaeth.org/online-registration/ and paying your membership fee using CBE EMLA account number 1000006564791 and attaching scan copy of bank slip to the form & EMLA membership affairs will contact you shortly.
Fee Rates
• Annual membership fee for Ethiopian regular/associate member is 300 ETB
• Onetime membership fee for Ethiopian Lifetime member is 3000 ETB
• Annual membership fee for student member is 100 ETB
• Annual membership fee for Foreigner regular/associate member is 50 USD
• Annual membership fee for local institutions is 5,000 ETB
• Annual membership fee for international institutions is 3000 USD
Members of the Association have benefits to:
• Participate in annual scientific conferences, workshops, etc.
• Work in Technical Working Groups
• ask a letter of attestation
• obtain various publications
