The Banna people, also Banya, are an OMOTIC ethnic group in Ethiopia that inhabit the Lower Omo Valley, primarily between the Weyto town and Omo rivers. According to the 2007 census, their population is around 47,000 people. They engage primarily in agriculture and supplement this by Pastoralism, hunting and gathering.
Banna children are known of the plays stilts. Children of the Banna tribe in Ethiopia with traditional body painting, playing on wooden stilts.

Abuna Yemata Guh is a monolithic church located in Tigray, Ethiopia. It is situated at a height of 2,580 metres (8,460 ft) and has to be climbed on foot to reach.
Tourism in Tigray Regional state has resumed.

Abuna Yemata Guh is a monolithic church located in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. It is situated at a height of 2,580 metres and has to be climbed on foot to reach. It is notable for its dome and wall paintings dating back to the 5th century and its architecture.
Note: Traveling to Northern Ethiopia (Tigray) is permitted.

Happy Victory day , Happy 29th year Anniversary.
Ginbot 20(May 28), the day when the Derg regime (Dictator) lost control of Arat kilo Palace to the rebel army of TPLF/EPRDF. The Armed struggle begins here in Tigray region with 5 Ak-47 kalashnikov Rifle and Addis Ababa University students. The armed struggle lasts for 17 years. Finally, TPLF/EPRDF Wins and took the aborted coup d’état to overthrow the Mengistu regime in May/29/1989GC. Ginbot 20!

Lake Tana is the largest lake in Ethiopia. It is also the source of the Blue Nile. It holds the Country’s 50% of fresh water.
It has 37 Islands in that lake. Some twenty of these islands shelter churches and monasteries of significant historical and cultural interest. They are decorated with beautiful paintings and are the repository of innumerable treasures.

The Church of Saint George (Amharic: Bete Giyorgis) is one of eleven rock-hewn monolithic churches in Lalibela, a city in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Originally named Roha (Warwar), the historical and religious site was named Lalibela after the King Gebre Mesqel Of Lalibela of the Zagwe dynasty, who commissioned its construction.
