Wimbledon, that special place on earth that almost feels unreal. It truly is that amazing. 💚

The Championships 2023 were my 7th time entering the gates of AELTC (I know, I do feel blessed!), so I thought I’d share some images from that one particular day of my summer.

Carlitos, Ons, Petra, Hubi, Matteo & Novak were also there. Unfortunately, the photos taken as close as the 12th row on Centre Court still weren’t good enough on quality. 🤩

I still have The Queue to experience. My UK coach used to say, you’re not a true tennis fan until you’ve spent the night in The Queue. So clearly, I have to do that one of these years…

🟢 Tapiola Tennis Club (Tapiolan Tennis ry - TaTe) is one of the leading tennis clubs in the Helsinki metropolitan area. It was a great privilege to design & create a brand new website for them.

🧑🏻 This club has their focus on adult tennis so the project started with a photo shoot with some adult members of the club. The UX design is also very much focused on the features and topics the adult members will be looking for on a tennis club website.

🎨 The new logo was created by one of the leading designers in Finland. Designing a website around the new logo and colour scheme was a lot of fun!

🚀 Starting a fun new project today with SST - Suomen Senioritennis (Senior Tennis Finland) with a 2-hour shooting session for material to their new website I’ll be starting to design soon.

💐 These amazing 35–75 year-old seniors turned up as agreed, spending their Good Friday modelling and representing Senior Tennis in Finland for the camera.

🎾 Senior tennis is particularly close to my heart, as I’m a senior player myself! Can’t wait to start this project of a complete redesign of Senior Tennis Finland website and other digital channels.

👋 Hi folks! Here's a bit of an update to what I've been up to recently.

💻 I've mostly been working with non-tennis related stuff this autumn, and as I want to highlight tennis related work only on my company channels, it's been somewhat quiet for a while here. That's about to change, however!

🎾 I've had the most wonderful time working with a new website and brand identity for my latest client, Mari Tennis

🖌 We started by thinking about the colour scheme that would suite Mari's personality and represent the Nordic mentality. At that point, Lara from Seven Love Studio jumped in and created a fantastic new logo symbol and finalised the colour scheme for us. We then started building the design for Mari Tennis' new website which we wanted to keep as simple and clear as possible.

🚀 The whole project has been super fun – and there's lots more to come. This is just the beginning of a beautiful collaboration, as they say. So, watch this space! 😃

🚀 Boden Racket Sports was looking for a brand refresh and a new website. So, my first project after moving back to Finland from the UK was to be with an Englishman living in Finland – what are the odds of that?!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Piers wanted the new look to somehow reflect his nationality, so we decided to go with a fresh & bright red/white combination. The logo tells the story of this multi-talented young man, who started his business just a year ago, coaching five different racket sports. The overall look & feel of the website is simple and modern, just as we wanted.

9⃣ The Original 9, including Billie Jean King, signed a $1 contract to join the Virginia Slims Circuit in protest against the inequality in prize money. WTA was then founded at the Gloucester Hotel in London, one week before Wimbledon – with Billie Jean as the first president of the association.
