Today we celebrate J. L. Runeberg Day in Finland.🇫🇮
Fredrika Runeberg is the creator of the famous Finnish pastry, the Runeberg torte, the torte is typically served on Finland’s national poet, Johan Ludvig Runeberg's birthday.
On top of this, Fredrika Runeberg was the first Finnish author to critically analyze the status of women, at home and in the society.
This day is celebrated by eating the famous Runeberg cake. (seen in the picture above)
