We continued with our Seminar from where we left off last year autumn in Durres, Albania.
Many participants from different European countries came up together to continue discussing more about living together in an intercultural society. This time, the seminar took place in Cagliari, Italy this week from Tuesday to Friday.
Some advantages of attending these seminars are:
🔸Familiarizing oneself with as many European cultures as possible
🔸Creating awareness on different minority groups that exist in Europe
🔸Empowering participants to become active in their own societies
🔸This experience contributes towards personal and professional development
All the seminars are usually funded by the NGO’s from participating countries and Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
Be informed. Be involved. Know better

Hyvää joulua kaikille!
I went to see Burj Khalifa today; the tallest tower in the world. Then thereafter, I also visited the Dubai Expo 2020 and saw many pavilions from various countries.
I do highly recommend visiting both of these places, the Expo goes all the way till March 2022.

Happy Independence Day Finland 🇫🇮
Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää 🇫🇮

Haastatteluni Tehy-lehdessä kertoo tavoitteistani kasvaessani ja missä olen tällä hetkellä. Haastattelun voi lukea viimeisimmästä Tehy-lehdestä.
My interview with Tehy tells about my aspirations growing up and where I am right now. This interview can be read from the latest Tehy magazine. Interview language was Finnish.

From September 7th to 16th of this month, I had the opportunity to represent Finland at the training for trainers co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Other countries represented were: Albania, Germany, Belgium, Serbia, Italy and Croatia. The training took place in Durres, Albania.
Minorities in focus — Living in intercultural society was our topic.
We were equipped with new knowledge, competences and skills. Also had a chance to discuss more about each of our cultures. I was contented with the high quality training we received.
The goal of these trainings is to go back to our communities and share the knowledge acquired through one’s local NGO. The NGO I volunteer with is Step Europe based in Turku. Erasmus+ Programme has for example social inclusion and youth participation in democratic life as some of their main goals.
