New Sales Engineer

We are pleased to announce that Mikko Halonen has recently joined our team as a Technical Sales Engineer at Kimmy Photonics Oy Ab. He has a background in photonics research, sales, product development, and teaching. We are excited to have him as a part of Kimmy Photonics and looking forward to his contribution to the team. With his expertise we hope to strengthen our capabilities to support our customers in finding effective solutions for existing and upcoming needs and challenges.

We are, as himself, excited about the prospect of working together and contributing to company`s services. Please don't hesitate to reach out to him if you need assistance or advice.

We are proud to introduce a new range of cameras, the FlowSense FCX series, with a lot of exciting features. Small pixels ward off peak locking, fantastic signal to noise ratios offer great quality PIV images, and ultra short interframe time offers a very high max. velocity capability.

We are pleased to announce a new distributorship between Kimmy Photonics and Prospective Instruments of Dornbirn, Austria, to cover the Nordic markets.
Prospective Instruments is producing Multi-Photon microscopes for the biomedical and the clinical markets.
These microscopes are highly flexible, fully integrated and multimodal designed to address many experiments
with all the requirements that are involved. The multimodality covers additionally to Multi-Photon Microscopy

Digital Image Correlation (DIC) is a 3D full-field, non-contact optical technique to measure contour, deformation, vibration and strain on almost any material. The technique can be used with many tests including tensile, torsion, bending and combined loading for both static and dynamic applications.
