Dear passengers!

The year 2023 has gone by with awesome speed as we have traveled the first part of our voyage in warps pace over the distance of several light-years deep in Spotify Space. This is our maiden voyage, so our expectations have been moderate. All cages and indicators are in the green.

One needs to take into consideration that these readings are only from the first four songs brought out during the past six months. The last published single has been out only for the past month.

As many of you already know, Coventhrall is from Finland, where we celebrate our Independence Day today, the sixth of December. So, what better way to pay homage to the veterans and our fallen heroes than play our song Victory! Click on the link below and enjoy!

Coventhrall dictionary part VI: Nova Burst

Nova Burst is the elite unit of a famous and respected space mercenary army. This unique fighter wing consists of four pilots. From left to right: Ghost, Drone, Captain Mace and Fire-Bat.

There is a strict entry requirement to join this mercenary squadron and Captain Mace doesn't let anyone in lightly.

Not necessarily the most motivated troops, but even more talented, skilled and cold-blooded heroes who laugh in the face of death.

They are often sent to the most dangerous and top secret missions. Sometimes they accept offers unofficially and were hired by the Avatar and Princess Celeste to join the battle of Morfuidra.

If you’re alone in space and see something strange out there? What you gonna do? And if you happen to be in trouble hoping to survive and save yourself, who you gonna call? Nova Burst, the toughest of them all!

Coventhrall dictionary part V: The Elders

The Elders are the council and leadership of Morfuidra. Just like the head of a government in modern society, but without greed for power, selfishness or scheming. Their decisions are honorable and based solely on the benefit of Morfuidra and its people. Their altruistic lifework is only to serve the people of Morfuidra. Because of that, the people are happy and there is no dissatisfaction.

No one really knows their age or any private details. They are rarely seen in public appearance due to poor physical ability. They have just been there and ruled as long as anybody remembers.

They're also a kind of oracles. They have foretold the emerging threat from deep space well in advance, but timing was shrouded in obscurity and speed of Scaven's waylay was a shock for everybody.

However the Elders have prognosticated how the people of Morfuidra will ride on the edge of their destiny. The revelation of the Avatar was written in the stars and sealed by fate.

Nova Burst is a legendary fighter wing of four pilots from a space mercenary army. Highly trained soldiers who have always been sent to the worst places and the most dangerous missions.

If you’re alone in space and see something strange out there? And if you happen to be in trouble hoping to survive and save yourself, who you gonna call? Nova Burst, the most toughest of all!

Coventhrall dictionary part IV: COVEN

The Coven, a sacred caste of few have taken an oath to serve people of Morfuidra. This group consists of seven monks, and they live very ascetic life by the old traditional rules. These noble ones hold and guard the secret knowledge of repairing and caretaking of all the ancient tech that once almost destroyed their entire culture. These sempiternal weapons are coveted by space pirates.

After the attack of Scavens, The Coven assembles all the people of Morfuidra and selects amongst them a champion who will become the Avatar. They equip him with their most feared weapons of ancient tech and send to fight his way through the pirates to the court of the Emperor.

Coventhrall dictionary part III: DREADNOUGHT

Once, a long time ago it was built by the Empire and was the flagship of the royal space force. At the time it represented a new revolution in the field of battleship design, and it was the biggest ironclad warship ever built. It had the most impressive firepower with long-range missile control system and very accurate laser guns. It was not only a battleship but also an aircraft carrier including one division of destroyers within. This feature made it a very daunting and pernicious enemy. For a long time, it was believed to be indestructible.

With the help of Dreadnought, the Emperor achieved many great victories in wars and expanded his empire to its greatest extent. As time passed by it started to become obsolete. Finally, it was badly damaged in a great galactic war, in the so called “Battle of the seven moons”.

The Dreadnought was abandoned as a derelict in a spacecraft cemetery. But after some star cycles it was found and graverobbed by Scavens. They repaired and customised it into the pirate behemoth it is today.

It’s not that super high technology anymore. On the outside it looks like assembled out of space junk and spare parts, but still very powerful and lethal battleship. Despite (or rather because of) the ragged appearance, it raises fear and terror in the whole universe.

The Dreadnought has a venerable history, but nowadays desecrated reputation by Scavens. The glory days is nothing but a faint memory in our minds.

In our first single “Dreadnought” is described how the Scavens enter the planetary system of Morfuidra and threatening to destroy the peace and prosperity of this secluded world.

But who are these mysterious Scavens? A mixed bunch of villains ugly as hell and bad boys of this great space adventure.

The Coven had called out for all the people to enter the sanctum of holy might. They had to choose an Avatar, a protector to help ward off the invading Scavens. The siege of Morfuidra had continued for a harrowing long time and the noose had gotten extremely tight.

Have you ever wondered what is Morfuidra?

Morfuidra is both a planet and a secluded solar system somewhere far beyond. The Morfuidra solar system has numerous planets and moons, but the name of the biggest planet is also Morfuidra. It is inhabited by the most of Morfuidran people and their leadership like The Coven, the Elders and still innocent but a very brave young man who will be the Avatar.

Morfuidra is also the center of events in this space adventure and the opening track of full-length space opera album “Legacy of Morfuidra.”

The plot and background of the battle in Morfuidra

In a small secluded solar system called Morfuidra live peaceful people that have stopped inventing technology ages ago. They live a simple life in the lush and fertile land on the planets they inhabit. Their ancestors developed tech that is now a part of their everyday life. It is incorporated in the everyday tools they use.

Only the Coven, a sacred caste of few holds the secret knowledge of repairing and caretaking of all the ancient tech that once almost destroyed their entire culture. The rest of the universe seems far away, and the intergalactic Emperor's rule barely reaches this unimportant corner of his domain, partly because he is not aware of the simple people’s background as craftworkers. Even though the empire’s war machines and technology were developed in the dark ages of tech, they are still in daily use. The Covens’ unique knowledge of maintaining tech would bring the Imperial Tech-guild to this faraway galaxy to absorb the Coven.

The Emperor's interest would be even higher if he knew that in this secluded place lay the remains off all the time traveling equipment and the limited knowledge of their use. The Imperium consists of seven galaxies and contains thousands of different alien races of which several are humanoid. There are wars inside the Imperium amongst different races and rival noble houses.

A threat emerges from the deep space. A fleet of scavengers and pirates have found Morfuidra and the well-hidden path through the hard to navigate and hazardous space lane to this peaceful and secluded solar system. Out of the reach of the Emperor’s might the inhabitants are at the mercy of the savage invaders.

The Coven assemble and select amongst them a champion who they equip with their most feared weapons of the tech only the elders know about. Not even the Emperor’s elite guard but only the secret guild of assassins know how to use them. Even though they are of an ancient and long forgotten technology, the Morfuidran weapons are incredibly powerful. The Coven hold only the last remnants of the ancient weapons, enough to equip only this one champion. They send the champion to fight his way through the pirates to the court of the Emperor to bring to his attention the situation at the rim and to bring a fleet to Loridors aid. It is a long, hard and perilous journey for the young Avatar. He is still learning to utilise the awesome powers and knowledge hastily implanted in his brain by the Coven elders.

This is the start of the story and legend of the Dark Tech Avatar of Morfuidra.

The missing piece of the Dreadnought’s booklet page has finally been found! This one was floating amongst the jetsam in the hazardous space lane at the rim of the known universe.

Now for the first time all scientists are unanimous. The handprint of drawings looks exactly from the same fount as the previously found lyric page. Currently, all the best research scientists are working day and night in a high-security laboratory to connect the lyric and comic pages together. Once again we have to wait for the work to be completed.

Our radio intelligence has got hold the first review of the Dreadnought single. This one is found on desibeli.net website (link in comments). With the help of numerous linguists, we have tried to translate this complex text and find out the meaning of the mysterious message, but still without success. This must be the hardest language in the world or something like a still unknown language from outer space.

According to one researcher, this may be a Scavens cipher related to the conquest of Morfuidra. On the other hand, one scientist says that the language may have originated from a small but very substantial state located in Northern Europe. There is one land of ice and snow called Finland so this could be finnish language, but this is just an assumption yet.

The signatory is Mika Roth, who also refers to Finland, the promised land of heavy metal music. In any case, this is an important nugget when thinking about the upcoming album of Coventhrall. Hopefully we will get some more information about how our music has been received in different solar systems.

Among the space junk in the orbit of a distant galaxy we have managed to pick up the missing booklet page with lyrics of Dreadnought.

Numerous astronomers and scientologists cannot determine with certainty the origin of the discovery.
