TB Uganda 2015 Probably the most unforgettable moment in my career as a professional photographer was to see Mountain Gorillas in their natural enviroment.
After travelling through the night from Rwanda we hiked in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest guided by park rangers.
I got to stand just few meters away of these magnifient creatures. I also stepped on mountain gorillas sh*t :)

If you get a chance to cook and eat lunch outside, just do it. Cast iron skillet keeps food hot even when it is -10c outside. Don't tell anyone, I ate straight from the skillet..

Today it wa my pleasure to be a customer and enjoy buckwheat soup and traditional Leipäjuusto dessert cooked on open fire by my lovely co-students. It was -22c but hot and tasty soup made it feel like summer... 😅

Many people has asked how do I get to shoot photos like this. As a photographer, I'm always looking for different kind of light. I do study weather reports and constantly look weather radar and satellite images. But after all of that, there is a huge amount of luck. And the more you go out, the better are the chances that you get lucky ;)
