Mark your calendars and get ready for a few events this year
1. 🗓️Date: July
🎤 Event: Suva Classics
🏟️ Venue: Suva Civic Auditorium
📝 To Note: this will serve as a preparatory event for the South Pacific Body Building Federation Comp

2. 🗓️Date: October 8th -12th
🎤 Event: South Pacific Body Building Federation Competition
🏟️ Venue: TBC
📝 To Note: Athletes who will be chosen for this event to represent Fiji and the Fiji Body Building and Fitness Federation will be winners from the previous two tournaments being the Mr & Ms Fiji 2023 and the Suva Classics 2024.

The number of athletes selected will be subject to:
• Funding availability
• Available categories for the October Competition
• Drug & Anti Doping Testing for Illegal performance enhancing substances
• Pre SPBBF Comp Judging for winners of Categories

3. 🗓️ Date: Last quarter 2024 (TBC)
🎤 Event: Mr. & Ms. Fiji 2024
🏟️ Venue: Suva Civic Auditorium
📝 To Note: this will be subject to funding and any changes to the event or date will be announced ahead of time.

Other things to keep note of:
1. FBBFF AGM 2024: will be held August when our one year term as council comes to an end.
2. Side events: we are planning information sessions for all athletes/council members/clubs and those interested for some of the issues that have arisen in the past.
Some topics we will focus on are:
• Code of Conduct for Athletes/Spectators/Judges and Volunteers for those part of the FBBF and also for all events.
• Repercussions for Breach of Code of Conduct
• Bullying and Harassment
• Drugs and Sports
• Mental Health
• Nutrition
• Scholarship opportunities
• Constitution Review
• Child Protection Policy
