Adi Sivo, Vunidogoloa Village, Cakaudrove. 02/03/2022

My name is Adi Sivo. I am originally from Biaugunu village, but i am married to Vunidogoloa village and currently I'm residing at Vunidogoloa.
I am the vice president of the village womens group. i am grateful to this initiative of waste management.
We are one of the first village in Fiji to be relocated due to Climate Change. We were once settled close to coastal site but now been relocated to high grounds.
We are blessed to the waste management program that enlightens the community on the importance of waste management.
As life moves on at the village. People starts to ignore about the importance of waste management. Wastes has been found lying idle which sometime causes injury and bring diseases to our loved ones and community.
We are thankful that this kind of awareness reaches us ad we believe we can continue and plan ahead with the village council meeting on how to manage waste in our village. Also with the womens group, we will plan and come with programmes on waste management.
Again we thank the facilitator and organizers in allowing this program to reach us. Thank you
