He's my grandmother's dog and always looks like a sad Ewok.

I wonder if his name is a reference to Hercules' statue in Malaga, Spain with two lions by his side, as Shih Tsu literally means 'tibetan lion' in its country of origin... 🤔 What do you think?

Anyway, Hercule is a grumpy, pig-headed dog but my grandma would do anything for him and he's a weird little fellow whose silly face never fails to make us laugh. 😹

Did you know that Christmas trees used to be hung upside-down from the ceiling?🌲

In Alsace, where pine trees were first used during the Holiday season – Saint Nicolas' season – people put apples and sweet treats up in them as it didn't touch the floor and was preserved from rats and mice. 🍎🥨🐭

Storks nest on the chimneys of alsacian houses during wintertime before going back to warmer places in the springtime. 🪺
