RISE•MOMENTS.
En collaboration avec la luxueuse maison Rare Champagne et à l'occasion du lancement de la cuvée Rare Millésime 2013, le designer artiste français Arnaud Lapierre révèle « RISE », une installation polysémique de 5 mètres de diamètre exposée tout l'été dans le jardin de l'Hôtel parisien 5* Alfred Sommier.

RISE•INSTALLATION
Two hundred bubbles shimmer in front of a viewer encountering a reflective surface symbolizing a radiant sun. A rare phenomenon to discover intimately in an enclosed garden of the hotel in Paris.

RISE is a polysemic installation: its formalization evokes a solar disk, symbolically embodying its aura, its natural abundance and its fascination. Each golden mirror particle dances and summons sparkling champagne bubbles, bunches of grapes and the frenzy of solar particles. The detail and staging of the mirrors will also recall the world of jewelry, the precision of the jewelry, the delicacy of the tiara. The work visually pays homage to the richness of textures of champagne, its organoleptic sophistication and the freshness of the color of the 2023 vintage.

This reflective surface, 5 meters diameter, offers a surprising reading of its environment, at several levels, each mirror is randomly oriented so as to defragment the reflected environment and reveal an abstract, rich and detailed mosaic of space which surrounds us: a work of introspection where each particle reveals a unique character of our reality, where everyone can find a point of view and a personal perspective.
Arnaud Lapierre works with the notion of reflection and its epiphenomena, of creating tension between subject and reflected object, between real and abstract perception, it is as much about contemplation as it is about introspection. To take the time to look and observe amazing details of our environment.
RISE is a mirage in the Latin sense of the term mirror. wonder, contemplate.

in collaboration with during is a simple but technical structure supporting and showcasing a 60cm high specific fabric. Inspired by large flag holders, the Oriflamme lamp highlights and starifies the qualities of textiles on a luminous wood structure with Japanese glossy lacquer. Two copies : Celadon green & Vermilion red. Signed dated.

CUTS•COLLECTION. is made from agro-industrial consumer waste. it is a question of valorizing wastes in a high-manufacture object and giving it a very high quality appearance, close to marble. This collection designed for entered the collections of furniture in 2022.

•Define in a finite object, the form of infinity?
To represent this Phi arithmetic property, we will formalize a TORE, the only geometry with a 2D surface in a 3D plane expressing infinity and perpetual motion. Chosen for this particularity, the Tore makes it possible to join on the same plane, the face and the reverse of the medal: it will receive a text engraved in a spiral; the golden ratio illustration; which can be read by crossing the volume, from its extremities to its center, and recto-verso: this will be an object to be manipulated, observed, grasped to embrace the coded transmission.

this constant (1+/5)/2 is often known under the Euclidean proportion called golden section, golden section, golden ratio or divine proportion certifying to it a character that is both magical and rational, a presumed troubling and verifiable ambivalence : this Golden Ratio is a universal constant which appears absolutely everywhere and is found in a generalized way in nature, hyllotactic (study of the arrangement of leaves on the stems of plants, leaves, trees), ancient constructions and modern architecture, the works of the greatest artists, painters, sculptors, in astronomy, arithmetic and sacred geometry.

The golden ratio induces many derivatives such as the golden rectangle, the golden angle, the golden spiral, the regular pentagon or even the famous Fibonacci sequence, itself infinite.

Produced by , the installation is a technical challenge, engineering that I wanted the most discreet so as not to impact the aspect and the artistic intention and to create a powerful visual intensity. This installation speaks of urban reflections and visual phenomena. This work defragments the place pey berland and offers an immersive game to contemplate: look for the Rosette of the cathedral in the green mirror, turn around, feel the height and discover the magic of light once night has fallen.
