To start the week on a high note, I wanted to share with you this behind-the-scenes of Daft Punk music video directed by Michel Gondry and for which I did the choreography. 🪩 The idea was to represent each instrument with a different movement. I also wanted to have a mix of various dance styles and techniques, and I remember it was very inspiring to see the dancers observing each other and learning from one another during rehearsals. It’s been such a great experience to share “Le Bal de Paris” with the public in Singapore! I wanted to show you here the backstage of the show, with all the technologies used behind the scene: it’s been a huge challenge to make it work and keep the magic everyday. Blanca Li
Artistic and cultural education is one of the pillars of our company, demonstrated through our commitment to students from Seine-Saint-Denis, le Département where our studios are located through the "Culture and Art in Middle School" (CAC) program. The program was built around the creation of the show "Rite of Spring" starting last year with an initial meeting at the Philharmonie alongside Abd Al Malik. Our goal is to prepare students for the professional world and give them the tools to build confidence through understanding movement and dance. Several workshops are offered related to dance practice, production, and company administration. These different sessions are led by our dancers, assistant choreographers, and company members. Next week, we will welcome students from Gustave Courbet Middle School in Romainville to the company's studios for two hours of rehearsals of “Rite of Spring”!

Short film "Séances" featured in "Lacan : l'exposition"
If you’re going to visit the group exhibition “Lacan : l’exposition” which is currently on show at Centre Pompidou-Metz, you will get the chance to see the short film “Séances” we made in 2004 with my dear friend Pablo Reinoso. The idea of the film was to offer a subversion of therapy sessions usually organized around the traditional consultation couch, but in a humorous way.

Best Choreographer at the Magazine Awards
Blanca Li has received the award for Best Choreographer at the 6th edition of the Magazine Awards held in Barcelona. Each year, this ceremony celebrates the arts and those who create them.
